A great wee site with space for one or two vans. The facilities are in a static caravan for your exclusive use including shower, cooker, tv, Wi-Fi. Ten min walk to Burray village.
Handy location for exploring the barriers and South Ronaldsay. Sigurd is very helpful. Nice views. Good value, £20 per night.

Basic site on a slope just after Burray village, signage difficult to see from south. After right hand bend through village look out for left turn up unmade road past two houses. The owner met us and escorted us to our pitch. Hard standing with grass running north south and reasonably level. Use of static caravan for toilet and shower facilities with sitting room. Good TV and WiFi connection. EHU point some way from pitch but owner has extensions if required. Site overlooks Churchill barriers and Scapa Flow and easy distance from Italian Chapel (parking for one large Motorhome only) Stayed two nights, first night on arrival from last ferry from Gills Bay, docked about 2015 Hrs so just looking for convenient stop over, and again last night before mid morning ferry back to mainland. Used the convenience of the site to go the Tomb of Eagles south end of Island. At the recommendation of the owner we had an evening meal at the Sands Hotel in Burray, Superb meal enjoyed more due to large car park at rear of hotel to park up 8m unit. At £18 per night very reasonable, site at St Margarets Hope would only accept booking for two consecutive nights. If needed owner will assist with chemical and grey waste disposal. Found Orkney to be a delightful Motorhome adventure with uncluttered roads, great scenery and historical sites from Neolithic period to World War 1& 11. Definitely return again.
