We stayed here last weekend and found it to be a great little site mainly for statics but at the front of the site a small area for tourers. It does not show on the facilities, the symbol for pets, but they do allow them on a lead.We took our two dogs.
The area for the van is quite flat and is of small stones there is enough room for most awnings at the side also, I would say with a very large awning space could be cramped depending which part of the site your on.
Another good feature we thought was as-well as the hook up,there was your own water supply plus a drain to empty your used water down.No need for a trip to the tap for fresh water.
We liked it so much we stayed another night, mind you the weather had a lot to do with it, a real scorcher.
There is a club on site,we did not use,but we found we did not hear any noise from it, it also does a good Sunday lunch.
Very good if quite site but we will be going back again.

We recently stayed at this site and the only issues I had with it were the following.
1) The Gents Toilets were a little run down and in need an overhaul, however they were still usable.

2) The pitches for the tourers I felt were a little close together and could of done with leveling out a little.

Other than the two minor points I would stay at this site again. The staff are very friendly as are the other carvanners. The club is nice and the food is great. Well worth the value for money.....

Stayed here for 2 nights with my 2 young daughers, we had a great time. Staff were very helpful, the club had good entertainment and are children friendly. There is a play park at the back of the caravan park. Breakfast is first class and at a reasonable price. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Although this is a small site it is the friendliest I have ever been on; you are not only made welcome by the site staff, but also by the regular campers. Every one is helpful and the club house is clean and tidy.
You do need to get on site by 5pm for this is when the office closes.

If you have a motorhome and you do not wish to take it into Southport, but don’t mind travelling by bus, then you have a Bus Stop just outside the campsite.

The site is open through Christmas and does cater for children. Entertainment is normally on alternate Friday or a Saturday nights. If no entertainment then bingo, quiz, or music is put on. There is a dance floor if you like to get up and dance.

We did notice a pool table and a food bar.

My family stayed at this site for 4 weeks in the school hols and it only cost £200! It's a basic site but we loved it. It has a little park, little pub serves meals inc. breakfast, with bingo and acts on at weekend, lovely people, very friendly. Shower block with loos clean.
5 mins to Southport beach!! we will be going back very soon!!!
