The site is handy for walking into town
And country walks
It is as stated a "working" farm so workers can be seen about but usually quietly, all pitches have electrical hook
Up and timed grass otherwise first class.

We had a long weekend here with the caravan. The farm was part of a local manor estate so is very neat and pleasant but with limited facilities.
There is no toilet or showers but there is a chemical disposal point tucked well out the way and 16amp electrics. This is a working farm so farm smells can be noticeable if the wind is in the wrong direction.
This is a well-kept site with a slight slope that can be taken up with the jockey wheel. There are a selection of goats, donkey sheep and chickens adjacent to the camping field, so expect to be woken at 04:30 with a bit of crowing. (Lovely going back off to sleep again though!)
Location is good for Wymondham, and a local riverside walk. Also the Mid-Norfolk preserved railway, just down the road. Good centre for Norwich and things to do in Norfolk.
To summarise: neat, well kept, quiet, good location, but with limited facilities, in other word what CLs are all about.

The campsite is a large field which is slightly sloping (but not badly). For your money, currently £10 a night, you get a pitch with electric. Nearby there is a fresh water tap, chemical toilet disposal and refuse disposal (separate bin for bottles). Grey water is disposed 'around any tree that looks like it needs a drink' to quote the site owner - there are convenient places to tip grey water well away from pitches
The site is quiet and very relaxing in the sunshine. Two goats, a donkey and some chickens live in a field next to the pitches.
Locally, the town of Wymondham is ten minutes walk away, it's a quiet town with plenty of cafes, pubs and eateries plus the usual shops. A large Waitrose is on the edge of town. As you leave the campsite (turn left) you will pass the Mid Norfolk Railway terminus. When running (see their website) £10 buys you a return ticket to East Dereham which is slightly bigger than Wymondham. Journey time each way is around 40 minutes.
Just past the MNR is a path along a stream, this is a good dog walk. Further towards town you pass the Abbey which is worth a wander around. Cavick House Farm itself has three honesty huts selling, respectively, free-range eggs, preserves and tea & cake. All in all a nice site which we would be happy to use again. Finally, our motorhome is 8. 5 metres long and there was no problem accessing the site.

Been coming here since 2006 to date. Always a very warm welcome,
A clean, tidy, and quiet site with views, a pretty market town,
Mid norfolk railway and the main station all within an easy short walk.
The site has sheep, goats and a friendly donkey, and lovely fresh farm eggs for sale. Open all year round at £9pn inc. Electric, 7 hook-ups,
Spacious pitches, part sloping in some places but not a major issue.
This is a 'working farm' so a small amount of farm traffic around.

May 2003 Easy access
Very well kept with friendly owners.
Electric Hook up, Tap and Waste point.
Easy walk into Wymondham, 10mins, with good shops and pubs.
Mid Norfolk railway station next door.
Good short walks and good cycling on country lanes.
