 This site is wonderfully quiet with the added bonus of up to date internet access. We had the best holiday ever in 2913 and 2014 there. The hosts are welcoming without being obtrusive. Views fabulous I cannot recommend highly enough.

We were able to walk on quiet roads and admire views. the local shop was adequate and local buses were very good which meant we didn't always need the car. All in all terrific place to be.

 Just returned from a five night stay with our two young children and had a wonderful time. The site is peace and tranquillity personified. A large field with lush grass pitches, views of the sea from the front and young lambs in the field at the back of the pitches.
The owners obviously take great pride in their site as they left us a note stating that our awning groundsheet wasn't the breathable type and requested we take it up at each side each day. To be honest we had no hesitation in taking the groundsheet up completely as we did not want to spoil such a lovely pitch.
Within an easy car ride of the site are the towns of Scarborough and Whitby and a visit to Robin Hoods Bay should not be missed! There is a distinct lack of supermarkets in the area but that wasn't such a bad thing. Will definitely return as there is so much to do and see in the area and the location is bliss!
