A small and sheltered CL for 5 vehicles. All 5 hookups were from the same box and did trip a couple of times.
The shower and shared toilets were dirty and not cleaned daily, in fact we never saw the warden.
There was chemical disposal and tap and freshwater taps, an overflowing rubbish bin and the whole place was unkempt. The pitches were overgrown with a bit of gravel/hard core in the middle but fairly flat.
The CL is well situated forSpurn point, near to the beach and the pub (with no wifi) and lots of walks suitable for dogs.
The area is good for bird watchers and fishing, walking etc but there are better kept sites 2 minutes down the road.

This CL is secluded and sheltered by trees. The area is quite compact. When we stayed we were told that there had been some ground-works done recently to raise the ground level and facilitate drainage ditches around the perimeter to prevent flooding which had been an issue at times previously.
As a result, the area had 5 hard-standings separated by soil. Which had been planted with grass seed which when grown will make the site much more attractive.
That aside, the CL has water point, Chemical toilet disposal point, EHU and a WC. The site is run by the warden of the Spurn Point Bird observatory.
We had our daughter and friend with us (9 year old) and although there is not much for kids on the site, the warden showed us some migratory birds which he was trapping in order to microchip before releasing to track the flight patterns of such birds. They were very impressed.
The area is very interesting and the flat often straight roads are good for cycling or walking. We cycled to the end of Spurn Point then called for an ice cream at the tea rooms in Kilnsea on the way back.
Just out of the site there is a pub (Blue Anchor) which does reasonably priced food (we didn't try but looked nice). The view across the estuary in the evening is fascinating with the sunset across the water and large ships passing
All in all we had a very nice long weekend here and will return when it will hopefully be a bit greener.

Very basic 5 unit cl. Handy for pub next door. A bit bumpy in places. Electric point. Honesty boxs if nobody about. We will go again as we like the area very much. Spurn point is a bird watchers paradise.
