The site is located a couple of miles outside Peel with bus stops, pub/restaurant and cafe about three hundred yards up the road, the buses run about every twenty minutes in both directions.
It’s a relatively flat gravel car park with plenty of hook up points.
All facilities are available but the toilet and shower areas would benefit from heating as it was very cold during our visit. The site is ideal for kids but be careful of the ungated entrance that leads directly onto the main road.
The warden and colleagues couldn’t be nicer and were very helpful during our stay.
The £25 per night for two people plus EHU would be reasonable if the showers /toilets were heated.
There is also a fish & chips trailer open every Wednesday night about a hundred yards up the road.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I would not hesitate to stay at St. John’s fc campsite when I go back to the tt, I will not look anywhere else
Location is excellent as When roads are closed for racing it’s still possible to get round the island
Really good spot in walking distance at balacraine to watch racing
Good breakfast, evening meal genuine Thai food, reasonable prices
Can’t big this place enough had a fantastic 4 days wish it was longer

Just returned from a stay at this site and wish I was still there. Been the last few years and every year they seem to improve things. Big extension to the front of the clubhouse with three TVs so great for the bikes at night. Didn't expect to get a real Thai Curry when camping food was so different to the normal English stodge, loved it. Camp Wardens were so helpful, will be back next year and can't wait to see what they come up with for next year.

My dad and I stayed camping at St Johns Football Club over TT week. We really enjoyed it, the grass is flat and you don't have to share with sheep or cow excrement, as with some of the sites on the Isle. The food is reasonable and of decent quality.
There are some quite decent powerful shower rooms available, obviously shared showers but not cramped by any means!
There must have been 50/60 tents there when we were there and the only constructive criticism I can say is that the toilets always had queues and empty soap dispensers, don’t mind queues at busy times but the soap could be addressed easily, we just bought our own hand sanitizer.
Good location though, great views, 10 minutes walk from Ballacraine, access to local shop including post office and a pub within 5 minutes walk.
If we go camping next year we will go back to St Johns FC for sure, we had a great time, staff were friendly and many of the punters camping there had been before / repeat business and recommended the place.
