Although they would not take advance bookings, we were able to keep in touch via email as to the likelihood of a pitch for our 3-night stay, eventually confirming that they would hold a pitch for us until 4. 00pm. We arrived well before that and were checked in efficiently with advice on the most suitable pitch for us. We were issued with some useful information to read about site facilities as well as things to see and do in the area, ferry service to Venice and the islands and so forth. Onsite shop is well stocked with food, souvenirs, as well as camping and leisure supplies. Overall a quiet, relaxing haven after the hustle and bustle of a day in Venice.

This is an excellent base for visiting Venice. I'm not sure that it would be ideal as a summer holiday destination, as the campsite is not on a beach and has no swimming pool or entertainment, but we stayed in low season with the aim of doing some sightseeing and as such found it excellent.
It's a ten-minute walk to the ferry terminal for boats to Venice, but there is a frequent and free minibus service to and from the terminal from the campsite, even in low season. You can buy tickets in advance at reception, which saves you having to queue at the ferry. Reception staff speak good English and are very helpful.
The pitches are are a generous size - plenty of room for a caravan, awning and car - and are level and sandy, with trees for shade. In low season only one shower block was open but it was clean, smart and had controllable showers with plenty of hot water. There are plenty of washing-up and laundry sinks, washing machines and a dryer. The supermarket is well-stocked, and there is wifi throughout for a flat fee of 5 euros, no matter how long you stay.
The site was very well-kept with lots of flowers, despite the late season. This makes up for the fact that there isn't much of a view of the Lido, as it's more or less a dock area immediately outside the campsite.
All in all, a pleasant, well-run site, very convenient for Venice.

Just returned from a lovely four night stay here. We stayed in the Maxic Lagoon static which was basic but spotless and had a nice little furnished patio area outside.
We ate in every night, there were just four burners to cook with but we managed just fine. The restarant next door looked nice enough but with two tired young boys we didn't want to make them endure another meal out as we ate out in Venice during the day.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They spoke excellent english and were very tolerant of us, esp as we arrived at nearly midnight and reception closed at 10!
There is a lovely little play area which my kids (5 & 2) loved and a little supermarket on site which sold everything that you could need, even if a few cents more than down the road.
There is a lovely clean beach about a 20 minute walk up the road with a beach bar and you can watch all the cruise liners go by.
The walk up to Punta Sabbioni water station is only about 15 mins max so no problem but they do provide a shuttle bus at certain times.
If you are making your own way from Marco Polo airport then a good way is to get a bus to Lido di Jesolo and then a bus from there to Punta Sabbioni. Once you get off, if you are looking at the water station then turn left along the sea front and you'll reach it. We made the big mistake of getting a the Venice express bus from the airport to Piazza Roma which meant the we had a very long water boat journey to Treporti and then a taxi to Punta Sabbioni was harder to get to.
We visited this site 13 years ago before we had children, we enjoyed it just as much and hope that it isn't another 13 years before we visit again.

I have just spent three nights at this small site which is about a ten minute walk from where the boats leave for Venice and Lido and some of the islands in the lagoon Murano, Burano etc. Tickets for the boat can be bought at the site, we bought a 36 hour ticket for 20 Euros which enables you to use all public transport boats in and around the city and out to the islands. We were given a large shady pitch in a corner which was big enough for two, four man tents, a table and chairs to sit out and a car for around 30 Euros per night. The sight has basic facilities in two blocks , one old with the older style European toilets and one newer with British style toilets. Both blocks have adequate free showers in large cubicles but not much hanging or shelf space in them. There are washing machines in the newer block and covered washing up and hand laundry areas in both blocks. The camp staff are really friendly and regularly tour the site by bike. The pitches are on sandy surfaces so, easy to pitch but sand tends to get everywhere particularly if it rains. The camp shop is good with fresh bread and pastries, meat, veg and alcohol etc along with a very reasonable range of camping accessories and gas. There is a restaurant next door which gives discount to site residents and other places to eat around the boat area or within a ten minute drive away where there are also banks and a pharmacy. The site does not have a beach but does run a free shuttle bus to both the nearest beach and the boat departure area. There are dozens of bigger and flashier sites in the area but this site has all of the necessary basic facilities for a comfortable stay and its greatest advantage is in being the closest site for trips into Venice.
