We were given a nice welcome when we arrived and was told where our caravan was, this site runs parallel to the beach, the caravan was nice and clean, we went to the beach racer restaurant for dinner but the waiting time was around 45min /50mins from ordering, it was very busy as the chippy was attached to the restaurant,

After the weekend it was very quiet and some of the shop’s, restaurants was not open, we were struggling to find any one serving food on a Sunday night apart from the beach racer restaurant on site, we did find a Asian fusion restaurant during the week but you have to book,

Also the pub spring well at the end of the beach also you have to book, the Caban restaurant was nice too,

The main supermarket are apparently 16 miles away, there are mini supermarkets around the site these are ok for bread, milk etc,

The beach is great for kids as you can park on the beach most of the time at a cost.

We booked a four night stay in their basic range of static caravan and check in was at 4pm on the Monday. We arrived at 3:30 and they let us in early. On getting to the static it was very well presented and very modern. It had full central heating with combi boiler, so had plenty of hot water on tap.

The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and the two bedrooms had duvets, pillows and sheets on them. The caravan was two bedroom with one double room and one twin, which were both perfect for our needs. The bathroom had a shower and toilet and was clean and had powerful water pressure.

We had a problem with the outside water tap bursting and the maintenance team were there very quickly and sorted the problem with no hassle at all.

Onsite there is a couple of bars, one with food and entertainment and this was the usual thing, kids club, bingo, disco, etc. The bars served the usual drinks and food was good value and looked lovely. There is a swimming pool on site and this was lareg and offered adult only swimming times for a more peaceful swim.

There are a few kids play areas on the site and the site is very friendly for dogs too

There are a few shops very near the site offering everything you need from essentials to more. There are a few chip shops, cafes and souvenir shops nearby as well.

The beach is absolutely huge at low tide and stretched for around 7 miles. When the tide is in, the beach vanishes completely and leave a small space for the dogs to run, kids to play etc.

The Wales Coast Path runs from the site and the cliff paths are easily accessed and offer miles of great walking with some stunning views.

We headed to Pembroke on one day and visited Pembroke Castle, which for the £6. 6 entry was an amazing afternoon out and definitiely worth a visit if this is your thing.

We visited Tenby and had stunning weather and were able to see for mles across and even were able to make out Ilfracombe in the far distance. We also passed through Wisemans Bridge and others on the way and there are some stunning beaches and walks from these places.

Not far from the site was Laugharne and this home to Dylan Thomas Boathouse and there is a lovely circular walk taking this in.

This is an excellent site in a great location and one I would stay at again if visiting the area again.

Lovely clean site. Large site with statics located in a number of fields. We stayed in the paddocks, close to the small bar with a great play area, but a bit of a walk from the main entertainment building.

The caravan was clean, with a good stock of kitchen and dining utensils. Beds were made up for us.

Entertainment was on every night for the kids, plus bingo and live acts later on.

The kids entertainers worked really hard providing morning activities too.

The pool is a bit small for the size of site so they limit the number of guests going in, this meant our family didn't all go in at the same time which was a bit disappointing, we were also limited to 45 minutes, which wasn't really long enough.

The beach is long but parts are closed at times due to it being used by MOD as a firing range. Lifeguards were on duty every day.

Lovely walks along the Wales Coastal path.

Have visited this site a few years running.

Lovely caravan site, yes it is a large site and you could be placed a way from the entertainment complex but if you ask at the time of booking they will accommodate you closer. This is what I did a few years running and they never let me down.

Always clean and tidy.

Entertainment staff do work really hard to keep everyone entertained and there is always something going on.

We are huge fans of the area of Pendine as it is so quite and peaceful with a beautiful beach. The locals are really friendly too.

Have recommended to friends and family.

Our dream is to one day own a caravan on site, that's how much we love it.

This site thought stretched out quite a way was clean and very friendly, all the entertainment staff worked very hard to make our holiday, they even got me up and joining in with the dancing which is one BIG achievement.

The swimming pool was very well cared for and the kids loved it, one of the only places we have been where the staff knew quite a lot about the area and were willing (and able) to answer almost all our questions.

During the evening the DJ would bring every to life and get the usual party games and dancing off to a flying start, this would be after the entertainment staff would put on a great show, (blues brothers, pop through the ages), visiting tribute bands where very good, (Kyle Manogue and backing dancers being just one I can remember)

As for the area this was a very peaceful place, walks along the sea front saw us on the same beach as some land speed records where held and there is a small museum showing this.

If you took a walk to the right of the holiday park and on the beach you would find a few caves around the headland, these being large enough to walk into, though you need to be careful as the tide comes in quickly and covers the entire caves, (not recommended for children on their own) best time to view these caves would be as the tide is going out.

All in all the holiday park was clean and well kept and though the road was very close there was little noise after around 10.30 at night, also in the area there are enough attractions for everyone to enjoy.

This is one of the few holiday parks that we would all like to return too in the future, nice small shops, lovely fish and chip shop and for the sea angler a decent enough tackle shop selling all you would need.

A very good holiday was had by us all, the kids did not want to leave, as for the caravan, mmm, can’t fault it.

The headland shown in the photo provides lovely views across the channel and back towards the holiday park, also the area is lovely for costal or country walks, also there was a lovely little pub close to the tackel shop, (can't remember the name) but a very good pint was served.

This is a large site running alongside the road through Pendine; it has a great reception, heated indoor pool, entertainment area and amusement arcade. It was very clean and well looked after, and just over the road from a fantastic beach. There was a launderette, shop and take aways to choose from.

However, if you have children, the site is very sprawling and you may be a long way from the Entertainment/Pool facility. Also it is not really safe to let children explore as the road is quite busy. There were no open areas for play other than the beach across the road.

Beware too that the beach here is MOD property, and was only accessed at weekends so there was a very small area around the cafe and slipway that could be walked on during the week.

The caravan we stayed in allowed pets so was not the better quality; and we were very cold here so be warned and take lots of bedding and thermal clothing if you stay here in the early/late seasons.
