This is a terrific site best described as a living museum. The owners have painstakingly put together a fantastic collection of airstream vans from the '50s to the '70s which you can stay in. There are also vintage cars (mainly american and french) dotted all around the site as well as all types of americana. They also have a few piches for visiting vans with hookups, and that's what we used. The site is remote, therefore quiet, except on the nights the american diner(converted airstream) is open when food and drink is served and old vinyl records are spun by perry, one of the site owners. These are very good nights!
The piches are large enough, the sanitaires clean and well looked after, plenty of hot water too ! you can place orders for food essentials each evening and they're available first thing the next morning. Try the large croissants !
Mirepoire the nearest large town is well worth a few visits, medieval buildings and a cathedral ! there's plenty to do in the area, just take a few suggestions from the site owners.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be be back soon !

I just wrote a review and lost it! But I don't mind writing it again because the experiences that my husband and I had were so amazing.
What a magic place! It nestles in rolling French countryside between Carcassone and Toulouse 12 km away from the medieval town of Mirepoix. The site is hidden away and totally private. All pitches are bordered by grassy banks and have electric hook ups. However the main attraction of the site are the Airstream caravans which the owner Perry Balfour has lovingly collected and restored. They gleam among the roses. Perry and Coline are very active hosts, attentive to your needs and they have managed to create a delightful atmosphere of relaxed calm in which you are encouraged to meet and greet fellow guests.
There is all your childhood on view, from Mobo ponies, to a red London bus, a phone box and enough tin signs to recall bygone ages. The bar area is delightfully challenging with orange and yellow seats and an airstream bar purchased from beneath the Eiffel tower. All the food, including vegetarian, is delicious and cooked on site by Coline. Perry, son of the late Michael Balfour, an actor whose face will be very familiar, plays retro music to entertain.
We spent an amazing eight nights which will remain in our memories for a very long time.
