Very friendly and helpful owners. Super views, basic amenities - all very clean. Would definitely recommend.

Plenty of shops in nearby High Bentham - only a short drive away.

Another gem! A great little campsite, this is a campsite for those that enjoy basic facilities and views that are stunning. With the Cumbria hills in the background and to the front Ingleborough and Peny Gent. Truly amazing with the sounds of curlews, sheep and chickens. We loved this campsite. The host were extremely pleasant and accommodating.

The cost £14 per night for two people. Toilet/shower and running water attached by a side building to the main house. 3 gorgeous chickens roam the camp field but if you don't like them the owners would find them somewhere else to roam.

The camp site sits alongside the main road to High Bentham. For us this was not a problem with noise as it was only at 'rush hour'.

High Bentham is a fabulous market town with plenty to do. Pubs serving great food and beer, tourist information centre and traditional sheep auction, independent shops

We walked to the Big Stone and down to Low Bentham which was an adventure.

The camp field was clean, gated and the toilet shower area immaculate.

We are not faint hearted campers but when storm Hector hit us and buckled our tent we left early morning!

Thank you to the host for providing us with an incredible place to stay.

How camping used to be! What a quaint little site. The camping field used to be where the owners kept horses and is now a wonderful little spot to pitch a tent with fantastic views.

The field is pretty flat, the ground is just right and the owners are very obliging. Forget this site if you're after 5 star glamping, but do come here if you want peace and quiet and a back to basics experience.

There is a unit attached to the owners house that has washing up facilities, a toilet and shower. I came with my wife and 2 kids (3 & 6) and we loved it. We will definitely keep this place on our radar.

Just what we look for in a camp site - friendly and very accommodating hosts, amazing views, fire pit, plenty of space for the kids to run about, not busy (there was just one other tent)

Basic but adequate facilities (clean shower, toilet, washing up sink), pub down the road, lovely walks near by.

Although next to a road we didn't notice, and the road was very quiet at night. We will be returning!

This campsite was fantastic, great location, plenty of space, toilet block with shower. We all had a great time here, left to our own devices which was brilliant for us.

The owners were pleasant and helpful. We would recommend this site and hope to be staying again very soon. Ps loved the animals as well.

The site is right next to a B - road, with typical road noise. The field is mostly slightly sloping. Views are marginally better than average, not stunning. Loud barking came from the farm dog at me while I washed up.

I found the owners very friendly and helpful. And there was only one other tent in the field. And hot water, and the shower was free. Immaculate? No. Clean? Yes. With pot washing materials provided. Finally, the pegs went in the ground like a dream.

I'm sorry to say that for us, the road noise lowers our overall rating to 5.

We will definitely be returning to the perfect, idyllic, homely & relaxing atmosphere on this nice small and quiet site.

Its at the top of a hill so has a good view towards the trough of bowland. The extremely friendly and welcoming owners (and their horse) made it our favourite campsite experience in the UK.

Very accommodating, informative and thorough to make sure we enjoyed our stay and genuinely interested in what we got up to during our stay, showing us bike routes on the map etc. There is only one toilet and shower which we thought could have been a problem but not so.

It just seems to work and the facilities are kept absolutely immaculately with good attention to detail. Plenty to do in the local area if you like walking cycling etc. Highly recommended campsite.

Sean and Jennie.

 Simply a fantastic site.

This is what camping is all about - great site, idyllic views, quiet and friendly.

Off the main Ingleton road yet only 10 mins from Ingleton.

Owners are the friendliest and camper focused Ive come across - very much appreciated when turning up to camp without tent pegs.

Views and sunset to die for.

Facilities are basic - shower and toilet with washing up, but no high yield blocks and feels like your home.

If you crave camping in the true meaning - please visit.

Practically flat site with stunning views wherever you pitch your tent and you won, t find more welcoming and helpful owners anywhere. The atmosphere here is so relaxing I could happily have stayed on site all day and had to drag myself away to go hiking. Attention to detail included providing tea towel and washing up liquid for campers use plus (admittedly old) camp chairs available to borrow.

Cars are allowed but access makes it more suitable for cyclists and walkers. In addition walkers and cyclists get a £1 reduction on the £6 pppn tariff.

While spotlessly clean the washroom had only one shower and toilet which was not a problem during my weeks stay but could result in a queue if it gets busy.

Village a mile down the road has everything - co op, spar, cash machine, chippy, pubs with food and even two hardware stores that sell meths.

Overall staying here was pure bliss and I will be going again unless prevented.
