This site is not for touring. We were only able to find about 15 emplacements, the rest of the site (which was quite large) was taken up with cabins. As a result the facilities available for touring were minimal. The toilet block, open air but with some rather oppressive heating from overhead, was half locked. There were only two available toilets (unisex and no urinals) and four showers. The toilets were not the most clean but the showers had plenty of hot water and space. We were there one morning during 'cleaning' which took about 10 mins and seemed to comprise of a floor mop only. Dirty marks on the walls didn't change all week. In addition, despite signs saying the toilets were for the use of caravan and camping only, people were clearly using them from the chalets.
The light had gone in the washing up area so our evening washing up was rather dodgy and the taps were all loose and worked by sensor, when they felt like it! Someone had obviously cleaned their boots in one of the laundry sinks and this stayed dirty while we were there.
The pitch we chose was spacious and had a good view, but it was impossible to get pegs in to any distance and if it had been windy we would have been a bit stuck.
The site was generally quiet but wandering around was marred by the amount of dog (or possibly cat?) mess.
We had chosen the site because it boasted that all facilities remained open even at the end of the season (it was the last week of September). What we hadn't realised was that it didn't reduce it's prices at all - 48 euros per night! Some of the facilities were closed however, such as the creperie and pool bar, the aqua aerobics didn't seem to happen and the shop was down to minimal stock. This would have been fair enough but not at those prices. The pool, however, was large and pretty much empty and good and warm so we enjoyed a few swims and for some reason we were given three bottles of a half decent rose as a freebie.
The location of the site meant there was pretty much nothing in walking distance, and even if you could have just about walked the few km to the beach it would have been a pretty unpleasant experience with all the traffic. The restaurant and bar did remain open and may have been ok but the menu was fairly basic so it didn't tempt us in, especially as we had found the local Carrefour (a map was supplied at reception) and this had some great tempting dishes and seafood. We used the takeaway on the first night and it was fine but not a great selection.
I think this is an area we would probably not return to as there are few opportunities for walking, but if we did it definitely wouldn't be to this site.

The site is in the middle of making all the owners replace all the old caravans. Will remove most of the character.
The indoor pool proved to be wonderful as it rained almost every day. Just wished they kept the temperature constant.
The site is very hilly but this added to the character.
It is quite a way from the beach and could be a problem in peak season. The site did provide a bus to the beach in the summer though.
There are now some Brit Tour operators on site but all their caravans were empty and we went at whit.
I liked the site being fairly empty but rubbish for my 8 year old as very few children
I would go again but maybe in the main summer season
