 Booked a weekend away through our local paper, was meant to be £15 pp but they only had deluxe caravans left so booked one of these for £20 pp.
Check in was from 4pm but we arrived just after 2pm, our van wasn't ready but told to try again about 3pm, we sat in the bar area having a coffee and the staff were brilliant, they came over to check our name again to double check if it was ready, and again when it was ready at about 2:45pm, although when we got to our caravan it was still being cleaned so we just went for a walk. About 2 hours after check in reception phoned my mobile to make sure everything was ok.
The site itself is very well maintained, with lots of trees and park areas, the shop on the site was well stocked but a little pricey, but spars normally are.
The entertainment complex was clean, lots of security guards, we didn't stay for any of the entertainment but did have a drink in the bar whilst the England game was on, no real ale so hubby had to make do with tetley, £3 a pint which is fair enough, although he did have a bottle of Newcastle brown with a meal and that was £4.45! We had a meal in the boardwalk bar and it came to £30 fro 2 adults and a child, the service was good as was the food.
Swimming pool nice, really warm but did seem really small when it got busy.
The beach was easily accessible from the park and we were really lucky to have fab weather and be able to spend the day on the beach.
My only problem with this site was the caravan, how it was a deluxe model I will never know, it was modern but hardly any storage, even the crockery was kept in the living area because there was no where in the kitchen for it to be stored, We only ate in the caravan on the first night but there were no baking trays for the oven which could have made cooking very difficult
