 Not impressed, cupboard in lounge covered in dust, coffee table covered with sticky stuff, sawdust on bedroom shelf, door edges needed a good scrub, bathroom bath taps needed a good scrub around sides, bath panel split and radiater needed a good scrub skirtngs outside bathroom havn't seen a cloth in months,
Won't be back.

Had a gold caravan, good price, well kitted out, lovely site brilliant swimming pool, well stocked shop office staff really helpful. This was going to be one of my best revues yet, but when we got home my daughter realised the new pair of pygammas she had bought for the holiday, were still in the bedroom of the caravan under the pillow, well we thought pink pygammas on a yellow bed and under the pillow theyll soon be seen by the housekeeping staff, but no apparently theyve vanished, ive rung the site many times have mailed the company been told all sorts of silly things but no pygammas, I even mentioned claiming to the company but no help at all infact they havent had the decency to ring me at all. Well john Fowler holidays you have not only lost a pair of pygammas worth £15 youve lost hundreds of pounds in lost custom, I expect honesty in these situations and so do most people, word of mouth goes a long long way.

Well what can I say - this is NOT the full and lively 5 star campsite we expected from the brochure! It is a small quietish site however it is fairly tidy and clean, just in need of some renovation work. The entertainment was ok and the staff worked really hard but the 'Acts' came on stage approx 10-11pm, then there was a disco until 11.30 then the bar closed! Not that we're party animals or anything, but thought bar would be open until at least 1am. Also the swimming pool does not open until 10am - bit late if you want to swim before breakfast plus it closed at 6pm (including closing for an hour for lunch!)
There's a beach down a long single track road, then 110 steps to reach it but it is worth the trek not suitable for wheelchairs tho. The surrounding area is fantastic - we went to Plymouth for the day and drove the long way round and ended up on a car ferry, Brixham is lovely and clean. Overall an enjoyable holiday, will visit area again, but definitely not with John Fowler!
