We stayed in one of the two bedroom chalets and overall we had a great time.
The site is easy to find on the outskirts of St Ives and Hayle and check was simply and fast.
The chalet was set in amongst the trees and in a group of four and whilst they can be overlooked we just shut the curtains for some privacy. The chalet had everything you need, small but useable kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath, a double and a twin bedroom and living room with table and chairs, two sofas and a TV.
It came stocked with the basic kitchen utensils, however it did not have a vacuum cleaner, only a dustpan and brush and this made cleaning it quite hard.
On site is a swimming pool, entertainment room, games room, restaurant and bar. Outside is the woodland, play area and a very small crazy golf. The pool looked nice, although we didn't use it but the bar and entertainment room were huge and they offered a wide range of drinks at good prices. We didn't eat in the restaurant, however the menu looked ok and we saw quite a few people eat there.
The evening entertainment was the usual cheesy holiday park thing, however the team of "Stripeys" were great with the kids and adults alike and everyone that joined in had a great time. Hats off to the team, they were great.
The site is set in loads of woodland and this made walking the dog on site easy and relaxing.
Off site walking is in abundance and direct from the site you can walk up an ancient fort and the views are stunning all around.
You can walk in to St Ives and Hayle across the fields, however we did not do this.
St Ives is lovely and worth a visit and there is so much more in the area to see, but you do really need a car for this. We travelled over to Marazion and wandered over to Mount St Michael and then walked the beach to Penzance and back
Large Tesco in St Ives and large Asda in Hayle.
Overall this is a great site and a great base for the area and I would stay again.

Interesting site, lots of chalets and caravans set amongst trees and parkland, quite a nice setting.
Chalet itself was great, small but functional and well equipped. Little patio outside with a picnic table.
Usual park facilities on site, bar, pool, shop and evening entertainment. Full marks to the hard working entertainment staff, there were great, managing to get laughs and fun despite the rather limited numbers ( it was pretty empty due to the time of year! )
Nice dog walks - a short one within the site grounds themselves, and access to lots of amazing walks offsite and up and over the hills.
Good location for visiting St Ives, Mount St Michael, Penzance etc - all just a short drive away.

When we arrived after a 10 hour journey. Bearing in mind the accommodation should have been ready at 4 ours wasn't ready till 6 15 so not a very good start. The chalet which was a silver was damp and didn't smell very nice, it was very old fashioned, the chalets are in need of doing up. The setting of the park was very nice in woods. Didnt use pool or club so cant comment on them. The location was brilliant. Never saw the staff smile once and the shops rubbish

Stayed in a chalet over Easter. Basic accommodation but we only paid just over £100 for six of us. But it had everything we needed and we only really slept there. Typical holiday site. We enjoyed our holiday there, kids were happy so by default so was we! Little shop, had everything we needed but bit expensive, we used Tesco's nearer to St Ives for our main shopping. All staff very helpful, no problems at all. The kids enjoyed the entertainment esp the fact they could play bingo, usually they are asked to be quiet. Playground next to main club house.
Pool was ok as well. I esp liked it when our youngest(7) was coming down the slide and he was tiring, so struggling to swim to the side. He's not a strong swimmer. The life guard spoke to him and his elder sister, and rather than tell him not to use the slide anymore, he advised his sister went down first and stayed at the bottom to help IF needed. Felt this was very good, as he put my child's safety first but didn't stop him having fun. I was sitting at the side and witnessed this as children under a certain age aren't allowed unaccompanied.
Overall a good site and one I'd go back to.
