We loved the location and the public footpaths nearby. Convenient to Sheringham for a dip in the sea!
Our pitch was spacious with pretty gardens, shady tree nearby and a sea view, although obscured in part by border shrubs and trees.
There was plenty of info about the local area and a book swap hut.
We would prefer on-site shower facilities but our own are adequate.
We will definitely return but maybe for a shorter period next time.

Excellent site in a favourable location near the sea.
Tidy and well kept.
Facilities are minimal but this is reflected in the price and one is made well aware of what is available at the onset.
There is some traffic noise from the coast road that runs by the entrance and there is some daily noise from the close by military aircraft.
It is friendly adult only site and the hosts set the standard of friendliness from their approach to all guests.
The sea is a short walk away.
The local bus runs by the gate taking passengers to nearby Wells, Sheringham and Cromer. We hope for a return visit.

Before the 12p. M arrival time we spent a lovely morning visiting the town of Sheringham which is only a couple of miles away.
On arrival we were shown to our generous pitch and given info on walks and a bus time table.
The toilet facilities although old and tired were clean and adequate. There was a wash up area too.
That afternoon we followed the map given through lovely woods to the beach with our two dogs.
On the negative side
There is a £1 charge per day for each dog and no allocated doggy bin.
A multitude of signs tell you to walk your dogs offsite for their needs. Dog friendly questionable, tolerated yes.
Otherwise the site is well situated for a lovely stay

It's a very personal well cared for campsite. Loved that there were rules to keep noise to a minimum.
Very reasonable and a good location for bus routes.
Walking anywhere from the site was a bit tricky. No pavements and fast moving traffic that could be abusive towards those walking them.

Great stay, located centrally for visiting the sights of North Norfolk.
Adults only, very spacious pitches. Separate fenced off area for C&MC tourers
The walk down the hill into Weybourne, left out of site, is all along the road, no paths. Here you'll find both a pub and tea rooms, both we thought were pricey.
We preferred the tea rooms in the small reading rooms, right out of site towards kelling, you can walk through the woods to get there mostly. All homemade cakes, with 2 cups of coffee in the price and great cornish pasties.
We had an evening show of jets and helicopters overhead most nights, felt like our own air show.
The Muckleburough collection museum next door has it's own airstrip, there was a lot of activity on the Wednesday from Tiltrotor helicopters, take off vertically like helicopter, then rotors tilt to perform like aeroplane. Two of these took off next to us and over us, amazing, was like something out of a film, shall never forget.
Great value stay for £22 a night with ehu and toilets, no showers.
We visited Blakeney, Sheringham, Cromer, Holt.
We did the Sheringham parkrun on the Saturday we left, only a 10 minute drive away, be prepared for a hilly one.
We had a ride on the steam train from Sheringham to Holt, with fish n chip supper.
One of our best evenings was spent sitting on Weybourne pebbly beach, watching the fisherman catching the mackerel, with the sun setting, accompanied by the friendly local seal. Just great

Friendly, helpful owners - Steve and Anne-Marie. Had reservations at the time of booking that our pitch would be adjacent to the road. However, come evening the traffic had significantly reduced and did not disturb sleep.
We used our on board shower and it was helpful that the waste water hose could run into the hedge. No WiFi at the pitch, but we occasionally made use of the hot-spot.
Enjoyed exploring north Norfolk which I felt as good as the popular holiday destinations of Devon/Cornwall but without the crowds. Loved the nearby town of Holt with so many independent shops including a super department store. Sheringham was enjoyable too.
Both towns were very clean and tidy. Thumbs up to Cley and Blakeney, both of which offered free car parking at their village halls, including toilets, in return for donation in the honesty box provided.
We aim to revisit at sometime since the site was so relaxing.

A good little site, nothing fancy but pleasant.
A nice welcome from the owners, and a reasonable price.
Tall hedges border the plots, giving shelter from winds.
Sheringham is the nearby place for shops and a British seaside experience.

The owners were very welcoming, given a choice of two pitches,
Toilets old building but functional & clean sadly no hand washing soap in liquid containers. Showers Closed.
A biggish site with plenty of room. Due to mast in next property a great 4G signal. Wifi available near reception.
A decent Bus service to Cromer, Sheringham, Wells next the Sea.
Overall a great site which I'm sure we will visit again.

Really friendly, helpful, welcoming, quiet and peaceful campsite. Basic but clean facilities.
Lots of lovely walks around the area including Muckleburgh Hill and Weybourne.
Nice pub in Weybourne and fabulous little reading room tearoom in Kelling.
Good regular bus service - Sheringham pretty and bustling. Lots to do.
Would highly recommend.
