I’ve visited Parsal before but it’s been many years since I camped there. I’d forgotten just how fabulous this place is. We were able to choose our spot from a large camping field with plenty of space around each caravan or tent. We arrived with our friendly dog who was allowed to play off her lead, which is rare with many other sites. There’s a swipe card security barrier in the entrance which made us feel safe.
The friendly owner is always on hand to welcome his guests and answer any questions.
Toilets, hot showers, utility room for washing pots were all immaculately clean and spotless. No extra charge for the showers! There were electric hook ups available for a small fee each night but this was optional, we didn’t need it.
On the corner of the camping field there was a small play area for the kids with a wooden climbing frame - all within full view of the tents and caravans so it was easy to keep an eye on the little ones at all times.
The location was just perfect for us because it was a short distance into Caernarfon or Dinas Dinlle in one direction or alternatively driving a short distance the other way up the peninsula we also visited Nefyn to do that lovely walk down to the Ty Coch Inn, Pwhelli and Criccieth, all no more than 15-20 mins drive from Parcal.
Waking up to the most spectacular views of the mountains and the beach in the morning gave us such a buzz. And there’s a short walk down to a private beach at Parcal with a beautiful clean sandy beach, the dog was in her absolute element having the whole beach to ourselves. We noticed there were a few fishermen Bass fishing off the Parcal beach at times, night fishing. Must be a good spot for fishing too.
Overall the place is very well maintained, a perfect location to access the beautiful sights of North Wales and very good value.

Most amazing views and a lot of space!
We simply loved this campsite. The owner is a very nice guy, always in for a talk and having an eye on everything.
It is only a short walk to the beach and a bit further to amazing cliffs. Toilets are very clean and basic.
We would immediately return!

Lovely site with stunning views on all sides. Received a warm welcome from the owner and invited to pitch up wherever we liked in the camping field.
The shower block is a little dated, but the facilities were absolutely pristine.
The quiet location at the foot of the Gyrn Goch mountains and Yr Eifl is ideal for walkers - the Wales Coastal Path and Pilgrims Way run right past the campsite.
There's private access onto the beach and, when the tide is right, you can walk along the beach to the little harbour and pier at Trefor. A really lovely, quiet location.

My husband and I visited this site last year, It is a lovely quiet site at the foot of Tre Ceri with super views over to Anglesey.
It is run by the owner who lives on site and is very hands on - always busy around the place and aware of who is coming and going which is very reassuring. He is cutting back on the number of people on site so it is very quiet and he will not allow groups or teenagers on.
Static caravans are in a separate area and are mainly owner occupied.
Tents and motor homes/caravans are in a large, mainly flat field with a small play area for children. Electric hook ups are available.
The shower and toilet block is small, rather tired and basic but clean, there is a pot washing room but no laundry or other facilities.
The other people on the site when we were there had been visiting for years and I can understand why - it really is location, location, location
The only reason I haven't given a higher rating to this site is because the facilities were in need of refurbishment but we were paying the same price as a site with good facilities however, if you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet it's more than worth a try.
