Fantastic campsite, in a totally wonderful location, bordered the River Lugg ( trout, and the owner has the fishing rights) and extensive woodland). This has to be the place to get away from it all. Downside is only facility is a tap, although the owner is working on this. It has to be said Paradise didn't have mains drainage either, and this comes close so invest in a portable loo (about £35) and a spade and have a memorable holiday.

Breaking news. The miller is getting the bogs put in, beep beep beepity beep. Definitely going again this summer. There is a pub that does nice food and local cider and real ale within five mins walk. The lentwardine coracle reggata is being held there this june weekend of the 17th that'll be a grin.

WILD CAMPING FOR REAL what a fabulous place ! if you like a place where you can have a nice campfire go fly fishing have good flat ground in gorgeous surroundings ,not be bothered by club houses, daft rules and regs, then this is the place for you.
Set on the banks of the river Lugg steeped in history with a working 17th century water mill and battle museum ( battle of Mortimers Cross ). Yea olde miller (our host)and yea olde wench ( his missis ) boast a beautiful riverside tea garden that is possibly one of the best kept secrets in the area and it should't be. The most delicious home made cakes and cream teas I have ever had !
Set in oodles of various landscapes river woods ancient hidden quarries there are wild deer , salmon , trout , grayling and I bet there are barbel if you hunt long enough.
IT'S WILD AND YOU HAVE TO DIG A HOLE !BUT HEY THATS WHAT WE WANT. GET OF THE GRID AND LEAVE THE RAT RACE AT THIS PLACE
