 I don't know when the last review of this site was written, but things have taken a turn for the worse since then. The lake is still very pretty, but the facilities are almost non-existent and after 24 hours on site, we haven't yet seen anyone in charge. We had to knock on the door of the motorhome parked next to us to find out where we should park, and nobody has been available to ask about where to fill up with water, empty waste or indeed even where the toilets and showers are.
We did find the toilet and shower ourselves in the end, but they were filthy so not usable.
On the plus side, it's an easy walk into Stowmarket where there are lots of shops.
If you're coming to use the fishing facilities, you will like this location, but for campers I would recommend that you keep looking.

Nice site, great find, lovely large grass pitches, very helpful owner. On site food van with an undercover seating area which did a great full English breakfast, toilet/shower, and a separate fishing toilet. Fishing was very good when we stayed with lots of fish coming out, a great range of fish from carp to sturgeon, and lots of silver fish too. I fished on carp rods as well as a float rod. Cant wait to go back! There were lots of places to visit local and good supermarkets just a couple of miles down the road, we found a nice pub in the village that did great ale!
