 This is a wonderful campsite. Over 100 pitches, all flat and grassy. Three sanitaires (although one is only open when they are really busy and they start to use the second part of the site). A swimming pool open 12 'til 8. Children's play area, two boules courses. Ice creams, lollies, cold water, milk and wine, and Campingaz cylinders all available in the reception. The guardians live on site and there is an emergency bell. The sanitaires are spotless and include free microwave ovens, free freezers for your blocks, washing machines, and dryers. The guardians are exceptionally helpful and speak good English; they are also very understanding when you try to speak French to them.
The lovely little town is five minutes walk away (mostly by traffic-free lanes) and has all facilities, supermarkets, clothes shops, several restaurants, an art gallery, weekly markets. There are many, many 'Plus Beaux Villages de France' within an easy drive.
Would I go back? This was our third visit, and many other people we spoke to were returning visitors. It is also a Camping and Caravanning approved site (I may have the wrong word there, but they definitely like it).
There are some mobile homes and the majority of pitches have electric hook-ups, there are also water points other than just the sanitaire.
