Quiet, relaxed, friendly site, welcomes children albeit quiet. Friendly atmosphere, easily accessible from motorway but in a quiet rural type location. Secure barrier entry & exit, very clean toilets & shower areas, a rare gem one of a few proper caravan sites left that hasn't been mauled by cooperate companies. Relaxed approach not rushed into paying on arrival, actually given time to pitch & get sorted out before filling out the paperwork. 10/10 ~ 5 star!

Nice and easy to find the site just off the M55 and handy for a big supermarket. Across the road is a garden centre with a camping / caravanning accessory shop, it also has a restaurant so ideal for a cake and cuppa or a meal if you don't want to cook. What food I have had is very nice.
The site has all hard standing pitches, the owners are welcoming and helpful, but as one other person said you are not warned beforehand that you need green toilet fluid.
Toilets and showers clean and plenty of hot water, also there are sinks for washing pots.
Dog friendly with an exercise area but nowhere near the site to walk the dog as no footpaths.
Quiet site handy for Blackpool, St Annes or Lytham depending if you like the hustle and bustle or a quiet stroll but you do need transport to get anywhere.
All in all Good value.

Had an absolutely brilliant time camping at redleigh orchard.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful and couldn't have been nicer.
The site was well laid out and very neat and tidy.
The shower rooms were also lovely and clean.
We will definitely stay there the next time we're in Blackpool.
I would absolutely recommend this site to anyone looking for a nice happy friendly place to holiday

We stayed here last year so we could visit Blackpool
We didn't get till dark but the staff were very helpful
It is ten mins drive to Blackpool and in a very quiet area
It is only a small site but well maintained
The toilet and shower facilities were clean and close to all the caravan pitches
There aren't any other facilities but only a drive away from Blackpool, pubs and takeaway places
Quiet but a nice little stopover site

Quiet small site.
Friendly, well kept. Quite a few caravans appeared to be absentee residents.
I was glad that a previous reviewer mentioned the biological toilet fluid requirement, or the elsan would have been in. Easily obtained a caravan shop a mile away.
While it's not far from the end of th M55 motorway, you should note that you should follow directions given by site ie leave M55 at J4 to avoid narrow and bumpy North section Cropper Lane.
Entry by coded gate; fellow camper helped out as owners were apparently at work.

We've just returned from this site and it's very peaceful. Situated between St Annes and Blackpool, it's near enough to go into Blackpool for the fireworks and illuminations but far enough away to be peaceful. There is a garden centre across the road from the site which has a camping / caravan shop, very handy if you run out of something!
The site owners are very friendly and pleasant and the toilets / showers are spotless. The pitches are all hardstanding, very level and well maintained. Nice flower beds between some of the pitches too.
A very enjoyable stay and we'll definitely return.

We have just returned from a really pleasant weekend here at Redleigh.
We booked a couple of weeks ago for the lights/fireworks weekend and we were advised to call ahead to confirm(as they didn't take a deposit)and to ask for the barrier code as the owners were not to be on site when we arrived.
The site is nice and easy to find off the M55, left at the roundabout with the sculpture of the sliding children and straight onto Cropper Road at the next roundabout(follow signs for the Caravan Club Site) my only warning here is the road is narrow in places and very bumpy, go nice and slow and the entrance is about half a mile further down.
As no one was there, our pitch number was left on the office door and we were able to pitch up nice and easy, as it is a small site and it was not too hard to find where we were.
The pitches are all hardstanding, which we prefer, hate muddy foot prints ! not overly big, but plenty of room for our van and awning and car at the end.
The toilet blocks are lovely and clean, 4 loos and two showers in the ladies, cubicles big enough for parent and child, hubby says two showers in mens too. No queuing even though site is full (mainly seasonal here and older people, not many children)lots of hot water in the showers and good water pressure too.
The site is nicely landscaped and very welcoming, there is a grassed play area, but no play equipment.
The owners came round about teatime to collect the fees, which are very reasonable, £ 17.50 per night for car, van, awning, 2 adults and 1 child. The owners were very friendly and came to introduce themselves which we thought was a nice touch too.
The site is about half way between Blackpool and St Anne's, which is perfect for us as we love St Anne's and visit Blackpool for the fireworks displays and lights only.
There is no shop on site but shops are always available close by.
There is a garden centre opposite with a licensed restaurant, and there was a car boot Saturday morning there too.
This site does not have a chemical waste disposal point though, you will need some biodegradable stuff for your loo if you want to dispose of it before you leave here.
So, all in all a great little site at a great price and one we will definitely use again.

Agree with the comments of the other reviews in the fact that the showers and toilets are very clean, plenty of hot water and the site is pretty good. On a downside they don't tell you before you get there that you can only use certain products in the chemical toilet (which would not have been a problem had we known before). Also there are kennels very close by and if you are a light sleeper like me you will here dogs barking from early in the morning which does continue for most of the day, I appreciate that the site owners can do little about this but it was non stop for the few days we were there. Overall a nice site

We spent a long weekend here in July and the weather was scorching! My daughter and her husband also decided to come and stay with us for a couple of nights, which was no problem to the site owners. This is a lovely little site and I would agree that most of the caravans appear to be resident with their lovely flower tubs and outdoor lights. We were met by a friendly lady and allowed to pick the pitch we liked out of the ones available. Half the site is on all gravel and the other half has gravel pitches with grass around them. The access around the site is a little tight with a big unit like ours but the neighbours came out and assisted, which was nice.
The toilets and showers are absolutely spotless and always smell lovely. There was always paper and soap available and the showers were hot. The site was quiet by day and night. If it matters to you, there are no children's play facilities but the children on the site were very well behaved when we visited.
There is site security with a keypad gate. The site owner called to our caravan to collect our fee, was very friendly, and chatted to us for a while.
We didn't work out where to catch the bus, but a taxi is £11 into central Blackpool. There was a large car boot sale opposite the site on the Sunday which we had fun scrummaging around! There is a food pub within walking distance but we didn't go there.
I would definitely stay here again.
