This is a nice site, situated in the small orchard at the back of the Burtle inn.
The price was reasonable, the shower good, with an access code into the pub rear area after the pub closed so you could access the toilets.
As the previous review said, its very uneven, the grass needed mowing and the terrain uneven but its a nice site overall, good for a stopover or short break. It has a kids play area but really not a lot else, so long as all you want is a pitch, showers and play area you wont be disappointed.
The pub does food, very expensive sadly which is off-putting, the pub was quiet when we went but very welcoming and the staff helpful. It had a very impressive range of beers and real ales and delicious and very potent farmhouse cider from wilkins cider farm.
Would we visit again? definitely :)

Visited for one night just before their beer festival, so the campsite was quite busy, but still found a quiet space (we didnt stay for festival!). Field was an orchard next to a farmyard, bit uneven and the grass needed mowing, but easy to get into. The facilities for washing etc were good, lots of extra toiletries etc included in price. The kids enjoyed the play area, there was a pool table, skittles and chickens and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the weather and the fabulous food - very very fresh and tasty, and their home made cider was strong! The price - £13.90 was comparible, but more than stated on this website. Also advertised with tourist board. The site was off the beaten track - you'd need to know it was there, but that didnt matter, as the staff were very helpful. I would recommend the site for a quiet family place where the adults could relax over a good meal and a pint and the kids would be occupied.

Nice to see some campsites being in the 21st century. Wifi for me a big plus. I have not stayed at this site, but this public house was my local watering hole. I now live in surrey. But what I can say, If its good food your after, a nice environment and nice people this is one of the best for many miles around. David (the landlord) is one of life's nice guys, a true gentlemen. If the site is like his food, your on a winner!
