As a family of 3 adults a teenager and a dog we found that the owner was very welcoming and there little black dog to. The site is half way down a dead end lane which is very nice and quiet. You can easily take your dog and family for a long walk as the site is sourounded by open fields. It is well played out and spacious. There's a little play area for the kids and a jacuzzi under cover for all the family to enjoy. The toilet and shower block is being built at this time and the tempery one has seen better days but serves the perpose. There is a mixture of apple, pear, plum trees which we put to good use and made a couple of pies out of, with the owner getting one to enjoy. There is a airfield down the road but only small aircraft and you can't really hear them. The airfield has things going on all year round. The baytree garden centre is amazing and has a lot to do like take a walk around the owl centre, garden centre, pet and aquatic shop and a car boot some days. There is plenty to do just look around and enjoy. Lovely holiday will see you soon. Thanks c. Forbes and family

Just returned from this site after a weekend with 12 friends, Had I have gone there on my own I would have left the site after a quick drive round. The site itself is very flat and situated near the end of a very quiet lane with no lighting ( very good for star gazing )all the pitches have EHU and ample room to park your car etc. At the side of your pitch, and there is a 6 seater outdoor hot tub ( £5 per person ) however, the shower and toilet facility's leave a lot to be desired, ( its a tin hut on wheels ) not one of the party I went with would use them because of the shower gel and toothbrush etc. Left in there by the warden, it felt like you were invading his private shower/toilet. (thank god for modern caravan toilets), the warden on the site did explain that they were in the process of building a new shower and toilet block though. The wardens pet dog is left free to wander all over the site but it is very friendly so don't be surprised if it suddenly invades your van/tent. Lastly, the chemical and grey water points are at the side of the freshwater points which I didn't think was too healthy but each to there own. All in all this site has a good potential when the new showers etc are built but until then I will not be returning

Just returned from a lovely weekend. This is a new site and is currently being developed. Very welcoming owners. The site is in a very quiet secluded spot. There is a road in front, however it only leads to a couple of houses and throughout the four nights we were there no cars passed.
Great for dog walking. Have to travel to Holbeach for shops. We wanted to watch the 'Royal Wedding' ( excellent TV reception )and have a chill out weekend and we were able to do this at 'Lazy Acre '.
Will definitely visit again and look forward to seeing the site blossom.
