This site location is pleasant enough generally. The pitches around a small grass paddock are well kept and level. There is only one shower and one toilet but with 9 pitches it did not really pose an issue. What did pose an issue was the fact that a large family were constantly playing ball games day and night right in the middle area next to all the pitches. The constant TWACK, TWACK, TWANK of a swing ball being continually beaten around nearly drove us and our dog nuts. What on the face of it seemed to be a beautiful tranquil spot was turned into a full on Butlins adventure playground! We ended up leaving a day early to get away from it. If ball games are permitted on such a small site then at least confine it to a separate field.

What a gem of a find! This site is small enough to be personal and yet, large enough so that there is ample space and not feel crowded. It is also well off the road which makes for a very safe place for those with young children who want to play out.
Maureen & Ken are lovely couple and nothing is too much trouble with 'Mo' even offering the use of the washing line after we had used the washing machine. The shower and toilet facilities are spotless and they work hard at making all visitors welcome.
A really great site and one not to be missed.

Helloooo, we are from New Zealand and just finished travelling around England and Wales (over 2 months). We were meant to stay at a different campsite but the wind was too strong. So we came to this farm, it is very minimalistic. No lights at night and only the sound of farm animals which we enjoyed. The facilities are off the back of the owners house. It was a tad chilly in the bathroom and the shower wasn't the greatest, but for £10 with EUP we weren't complaining! Additionally the site is a good location to see Weymouth/Isle of Portland and further on.
