Arrival is a tight corner. Owner provides friendly check in the we didn't see him.
Pitches have own water EHU and waste which is brilliant and are super generous and spaced out. Its very well planned and looked after 5*.
Only downside for me was the shower had low pressure and its 10p coins to have a reasonable shower is 50p. No hot water in sink unless 10p but all very clean.
Would recommend a walk to the beach its not far and is very beautiful quiet lane.

Very good site. The owners were very friendly and helpful. There is plenty to do and the beaches are mostly dog friendly. Some people obviously don't like rules reading some of the reviews but we will definitely be returning to this site.

We found this site to be quite and peaceful, all the toilets and showers were clean and in good condition. The owner was friendly helpful and even gave the little people a ride in his digger also the little people enjoyed the play area we will be returning some time. Both Saunderfoot and Tenby were easy to get to. And there was a lovely walk from the site to wisemens bay and then on to Saundersfoot.

I'd read some of the reviews about this site before booking earlier this year.
To be honest we thought that the site was spot on even thought the facilities are basic and a little dated.
Don't be put off by the signage around the site. Yes, the owner John might come across as taking a hard line, but personally I don't mind.
After all if someone drove around the site breaking the speed limit and your children are playing, dent your caravan with a hard ball, well I'm pretty sure you'd be cheesed off.
Grow up and take responsibility!
We loved the site and its position, nice and quiet with plenty of room even though levelling blocks are required.
Wiseman's bridge is a stones throw away as is Kilgetty. Saundersfoot 10 minutes drive and Tenby 15 minutes. There's loads to do within an hours drive from the site. Try visiting Manorbier Beach - Superb.
Re John and Libby, the owners. They are lovely people, make no mistake. I spent hours talking to John when I was walking our dogs or he was on his rounds. He's a straight talking, no-nonsense bloke like myself but don't penalise someone who has worked hard to develop the site and business.
So just as you or I would, we would lay out site rules.
It's dead easy in my eyes, if you don't like to abide by rules 'STAY AWAY'
We, like the other visitors, loved the site. So much so we booked for 2015 at the end of our stay and can't wait to get back there.

We stayed 7 nights on this site and probably 6 nights too long! The owner was helpful when we first arrived, then a pain in the backside onwards. We did n, t feel welcome all week!
We visited with our 2 children 7 and 13. My son (7) made some nice friends, some of whom was static on site and some on holiday.
One of the MANY RULES on site was to play with a soft ball as they did. They played on the big field where the play area was and was constantly watched by the owner and in the end banned them off the park and told them that they couldn't play with soft balls.
All the family felt when we were on site that we were being observed from morning till night, through various modes, blue transit to bike. Certainly didn, t create a harmonious atmosphere to allow any form of holiday enjoyment to take place.
As the weather was warm we also had a small paddling pool out side our van which was up two days and on the third morning woke to an empty pool ? On moving it it had been punctured with some kind of blade in a place where it was not so easy to have been an accident!
Found it a little strange that the pool had suddenly developed instantaneous 1 inch hole syndrome!
As for the showers ! Well I could pee longer without a charge of 10p.
No hot water in toilets.
Bins in toilets weren't emptied in a full week.
To evaluate we will not be returning !

Management response: These are the fact's we were pleasant to this couple as we are to all, then his children started playing ball with a hard ball when it specifically states "SPONGE BALLS ONLY", yes I did say no further ball games unless they use a sponge ball. Due to the fact that they hit a caravan twice, This man then became very sarcastic to me. The pool comment is rather ridicules' considering they unsociable to many, considering the showers 10p last's approx 3 minutes (good value for money, I think). The toilets are cleaned AND emptied min 3 times a day 5 times when the field is full, I DO NOT ALLOW DIRTY TOILETS/SHOWERS. I fully agree this family will NOT be returning to my Park and I hope anyone who see's these comments will refuse him a booking. |

We stayed at this site for two nights in our motorhome. The field we were allocated was clean, spacious and level with some hard standings available. We didn't need to use the facilities which were portakabin style buildings but they appeared to be very clean. There were lots of seasonal tourers which isn't really my cup of tea and possibly the CL field may have been more to my taste although that was quite sloping. On the whole a decent site but I would concur with a previous reviewers comments about the number of instructional signs, they were everywhere which doesn't make for a particularly welcoming atmosphere.
I probably wouldn't visit again but that's more to do with my personal preferences rather than the site. Lots of people choose to stay for a season so there is appeal there
I have no young children so rated child friendliness as n/a

Excellent site and the owners are very friendly. The area was really clean and the grounds are well maintained. There is a park for the children and also a dog walk so they could be exercised on site. Only a miles walk to Wisemans Bridge which has a dog friendly beach and only a further 20 minute walk into Saundersfoot. There is a charge of 10p for use of the showers but it doesn't last very long so take plenty.

We have just returned from 21 days at this site and we will never be returning. We felt under constant scrutiny from the owner who drove around the site constantly from 6am.
The middle field where the holiday tourers were was underwater for most of the stay, and while he is not responsible for the weather, it was not necessary to take bookings from two caravans the previous day knowing that the site was so wet.
There are signs every where and I mean everywhere. For example 'If you pass this sign without contacting reception you will be asked yo leave the site. The list was endless including do not use fan heaters in the awning as the price does not cover heating the air and I end up paying for it.
We made loads of friends at the site but we would probably not spoken to these people if we were not all so fed up with the situation. There is no hot water in the loos or no soap. As I said we were relieved to leave and will not go back.

The owners were welcoming and only too happy to help, just ask if you need a tow to your pitch.
We stayed on the 5 pitch caravan club field which is huge for 5 pitches and has a small children's play area. The larger field had hardstandings.
The CC field has its own facilities, with 2 ladies' toilets, 1 men's toilet and a shower each. These were clean but unheated, the showers had no 'dry space', so we took a short walk to the main caravan field where the facilities were warmer and fresher, with bigger showers for ladies and men, plus 3 family sized unisex showers and further ladies and men's toilets. Showers cost 10p giving just enough hot water for a quick shower, who can complain at 10p? If you need to wash your hair, take another 10p to be on the safe side.
There was a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer with lots of leaflets about local attractions.
The village of Kilgetty is just under a mile away, a pleasant walk; with a pub, fish and chip shop, costcutter and a few other small shops and a train station. Everything else I would say is a drive away. Nice local beaches at Wiseman's Bridge, Amroth and Pendine; as well as at the towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot.
Take the 'dog walk' path out of the site, turn right at the end, then left at the end, which will shave 10 mins off a walk into Kilgetty.
The Caravan Club field was very reasonably priced, we stayed at Whitsun half term for 7 nights - 2 adults, 2 children with hook up for £74!
