Please note we have been advised that this site is now permanently closed, and no longer offers camping, motorhome or caravanning pitches. If you know that this situation has changed in the future, please could you let us know. Many thanks

As others have mentioned, the pitches are not marked out which results in a "free for all" and some not very fire safe positioning of tents, vans etc.

When we arrived two large parties of campers had taken over the main part of the site with large gazebos in addition to their tents and, despite having paid for an electric hook up, there was no way we could get to one - even with an extra long lead.

However we did find a spare piece of land near the "glamping pods" and for 2 nights we could manage without hook up - though no refund was offered.

The loos and showers were OK, but there is no waste disposal point. You're right by a main road, which is very convenient, but, as someone else has said, it is a busy road with large vehicles using it from quite early on. No problem for us, but some light sleepers may find it too noisy.

Having said that, the staff in the Greedy Goose were lovely and the food absolutely delicious.

Fantastic site, pub was great, fab service & food. Great location to visit the Cotswolds & Warwickshire. Highly recommend it.

Really enjoyed our stay.

There are toilets & showers, both v clean but no washing up or toilet waste facilities but not a problem for us.

There is road noise but that's what earplugs are for 😊

More for tents than caravans. No waste disposal facilities on site.

Clean showers and toilets.

No pitch layouts so difficult to know where to pitch and where electric points are - they’re hidden in the trees.

We have been advised that after a period the the campsite was closed, it has now reopened, and once again has pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents, as well as shepherds huts for hire

Bit of an odd site which feels like work in progress. Liked the fact you could pick a spot in the field rather than set pitches. Some nice glamping pods and the pub is very nice. The showers do let it down a bit (told they are going to be new ones put in) and no chemical waste point. Owners/staff are super friendly.

As a previous review states they seem to have some contractors staying and while they seemed friendly enough their tourers looked a bit run down. Didn't bother us but made it look like the camping site was a bit of a after thought.

Enjoyed it enough to revisit at some point. Based on the price to stay I can't see any reason to complain.

Stayed here last weekend, its a little gem we will be returning to. The owner and staff were very friendly the site clean and tidy. You could pitch where you wanted there are hook ups dotted around if required at small extra fee. We didn't need the electric so just paid standard price of £10 per night, like the fact its per pitch rather than per person. The site is gated so great for kids, the pub was lovely selling local ales and the toilets were v. Clean and open all night with music gently playing. We didn't try the showers but looked in need of an update but I have seen much worse. There are a few pods to rent at reasonable prices which are fairly new. Super little site, looking forward to returning.

Poor caravanning facilities! Poorly run and maintained for touring and camping

One single bin that is never emptied! Domestic waste just piled up around the bin and never removed

There is no sewage pit to dump toilet waste or rinse out! You have to use the pubs customer toilet which is unacceptable for paying customers of the pub.

For campers (our friends that joined us and that booked the bank holiday weekend had no washing up facilities and our caravan had to bail them out)

The showers were warm but functional but significantly outdated and it would appear that there will be no progress on the site with the exception of shepherd huts in the distant future.

Builder occupy multiple caravans on the site that are unkept, unsightly and not maintained.

In my opinion it appears the owner is happy to make a quick effortless coin with putting nothing in, and compared to the 2013 review nothing has changed in 5 years.

Very disappointing!

If my party was aware of the vitrified location next to the pub we would of used that site especially for the same price and with full facilities and well kept touring site

We would not use again.

On the night we stayed here we were the only occupants of the site.

We were told on arrival that there was no hot water available so the showers were therefore out of action (not something which particularly bothered us having our own shower in the van).

The site is open-plan, with unmarked pitches, electric hook-ups dotted around the area and one tap next to the entrance. It is sheltered from the two surrounding roads by hedges and the traffic noise is not particularly intrusive.

We were unable to locate any bins to dispose of our waste when we left so ended up taking it with us, there also appeared to be no specific waste water point.

The site is in a convenient location for the Cotswolds with easy access from main roads. With a little bit of a tidy-up and some thought about what facilities campers require this could be a great site.
