Have just returned from a week at Church Point, it is a terrific site if you just want peace & quiet & somewhere to stay. We came up from Sussex by train & spent the week travelling around Tyneside & Northumberland using our bus passes - it was so easy. The caravan was spotless, the double bedroom even having its own en suite toilet. Terrific Chinese take-away in the village also a good Italian restaurant. As Sandy Bay with it's facilities was too far to walk we didn't go there so cannot comment. Our 'van was right on the cliff edge so the views were magnificent especially in the aftermath of 'the storm' which was awe inspiring in it's ferocity.
