Booked a Gold Plus caravan but it seemed quite basic, lovely and clean, beds made up, but no veranda and no extra touches which I would have expected, eg a hairdryer.
The camp itself is beautiful and very clean. A bit off the beaten track but that can be an advantage.
The club had decent entertainment nightly but the restaurant and takeaway closed at nine pm so supper after the club was a no no. Maybe a basic takeaway open until ten would be very popular. Lovely pool, plenty of activities….
Would recommend Broadland for an all round jolly holiday

Well judging by the previous two reviews, seems this site has taken a nose dive. My daughter had paid for early entry ( which I think is a disgrace, you pay enough as it is )when she went to ask at 10 to 2, she was told yes that's fine, and then told Oh sorry its not ready yet, in all she didn't get in until quarter to 3, she complained and was given a refund on the payment. My caravan did not have adequate bedding, ie no duvet or pillows, we had to ask for them. Where our van was situated there was a horrible smell, we later found out this site is near to a sewage farm. I personally would not go there again, it was a sparse site, playground not very good. The pool was closed for a couple of days, due to it having to be cleaned. Not good in the school holidays. A little way up from Broadlands was a very nice looking site in Hopton, loads more to do, and you can actually walk onto the beach, unlike our one. My other gripe is the prices of drinks, £1-50 for a glass of coke, not a big glass either. When you enter the camp it really doesn't look very welcoming and there is no security at the entrance either. Best thing to do is go into Yarmouth itself, approx 30 mins by car. All in all very disappointing for my lovely daughter who paid for both caravans as a treat, but did not get value for money imo.

Hello, this is my review of Broadland sands holiday park,
To begin with, we got to the caravan, it was very clean and my Mother was pleased with the amount of cutlery we had to use, you could easily cook a sunday lunch.
The shop was ok, it had your every-day needs however, my parents were unable to shop there when we arrived as, it had just closed (4. 30pm)
The pool was lovely! It was so clean! The slide was amazingly fun not just for children but also for adults and elders! Sadly, on arrival we were unable to use it as it had closed (5:00pm). My Mother thinks the pool should open 11:00am till 7:00pm in the school holidays so people could go out and come back to a nice swim.
The amusements were pretty good considering they were on site as I won loads of prises! Also in the arcade was a small shop selling sweets and light ups which was very good.
The kids park was ok, it could have done with some swings because, most of the things on the park were for under 8 years
The staff were very friendly enough most of the time.
Food wasn't brilliant but was priced fairly and the eating conservatory was nice.
Entertainment was typical of a holiday park, bit cheesy but ok. There was a couple of bars so if you don't fancy the loud entertainment you can go else where or sit in the garden.
Had a good week all in all and will return.

Lovely little site with adequate facilities, the swimming pool was great and the kids loved it. 2 adults, 2 11 year olds and a 4 year old all made good use of the pool and the club/disco in the evening, if the kids are happy then mum and dad are. A few things around if you fancy a change, we went to great Yarmouth and spent the day at the beach. Aldi and other supermarkets are close by which are very useful as the shop on site is a little limited.
