Please note we have been advised that this site has closed, and no longer offers camping, motorhome or caravanning pitches, although the pub itself is still open. If you know that this situation has changed in the future, please could you let us know. Many thanks

I was in the Northwich area on St. Patricks day and needed somewhere for the night so decided to have a look here and there was a party atmosphere in the bar great!
The field was very muddy so decided to park up in the hard surface car park and asked the owner if that was ok he said no problem overnight and was very pleasant. When I asked to pay he said no charge but have a drink later. The campsite was very basic but the pub was doing a roaring trade.
Nice quiet area had a nice walk in to the local village in the morning just 1 shop and a school but everyone says hello, Lovely. No facilities but would be even better in the summer. Good stopover.

This campsite has no facilities to speak of. It is a slightly sloping field which was easy enough to level the unit on. The original chemical disposal point has been replaced by a manhole directly in front of the pub which you can only use when the pub is shut, nor is there a tap to enable you to rinse it out. The field was well mown and we were under no pressure to leave early. The pub serves food and would make a good stopover on the way south but I would be reluctant to spend much longer there. The road noise was quite obvious but maybe less so in a caravan. There is an enclosure with sheep, hens and cockerels in and a beer garden. You can use the pub toilets but own sanitation is almost essential.

Fust had a great relaxing bank holiday weekend here with hubby and grandaughter and friends The campsite has no electric hook up, and basic facilities, cold water tap, and an chemical waste point. You can also use the toilets in the pub when its open They have a beer garden with a play area. The site is sloping, the owners were friendly as was the pub It also does food (never tried) A lovely campsite and all for £5.00 pound a night, will return again
