Very well kept and simple site in a peaceful location on the edge of woodhall spa,
Large pitches with soft ground and separated well for privacy.
Toilet and sink services in the outhouse were very clean.
The site runner: Burney, was absolutely lovely and very accommodating.
No shower facilities but incredible value for money,
Would recommend.

Very nice site owned by a lovely lady.
Quiet and private, but close to many things to do including walks, cycling and really lovely little towns and villages.

Lovely small CL, set in a square field down the end of a long driveway, so no traffic noise. Bernie had hung a sign on the gate with our name, saying to pitch up and see us later, lovely and laid back. 5 clearly numbered pitches.
The field is sloping so tents may have a wonky night’s sleep but caravans and motorhomes just need chocks. The EHU is hidden behind a small gazebo.
A 6 x 4 shed is converted into a toilet with a hand basin, all perfectly fine, take a torch with you as dark at night.
There is a charity shed with an honesty box, reading books three for a pound and other nik naks.
The site is the furthest of the local camping sites from the town, about 30 mins walk. We drove into Woodhall Spa as we have two older dogs with us.
This may be the reason we were the only people on the site, on the first week of school holidays? If you like peace and simplicity and don’t mind being further out of town, then this is your place! If you have children it’s very safe, but no shower.
Note: the nearby garage has simple supplies but is not licensed, so pack your wine. £14 all in.

Been to this site twice now. The last time was at the end of the season so seen it different times of the year now. We have had sole use of the site with friends but this time only one unit was someone who we knew.
The site is hidden away from the road down a long driveway at the side of the owners home. Great for feeling like you are miles away from everything. The site has a shed with toilet and washbasin which is kept spotless. There are 6 good sized pitches all with 5amp hook up supply. Some can be a distance but the owner was quick to offer us an extension if needed. There is an area very like a shed without a roof offering recycling and elsan point.
One quirk we liked was the charity shed. Full of things with prices to raise funds for local charities.
Very well maintained. Friendly and helpful owners. Dogs welcome and all for £11 a night including electric peak season! Booked for next year already!

Just been back after a year or two.
Just as good and there is now a proper toilet. Of course the price has gone up but that is to be expected but at £10 a night for peace and quiet a bargain. Went to the cinema in the woods to see Churchill, had a superb lunch in the Tea Rooms and slept the sleep of the gods.
A lovely weekend.

Little Eden is a 5 van, members only, Camping & Caravan Club CS, situated on the outskirts of Woodhall Spa, and having just basic amenities - water, toilet empty point, recycling for waste, and a hook up if needed. We had a very warm welcome and were shown to our pitch by the owner. The site is slightly sloping, and caravans and motorhomes need ramps, although wooden boards were thoughtfully provided for our use.
The owners take pride in their site, and it is well maintained. There is an abundance of wildlife, including many bird species. While we were there in May, we also saw a slow worm, which is quite a rare sight these days, and a young fox strolled across the site one evening. There were several nest boxes around, some of which were occupied.
Most of the pitches get sunshine, with some shade from the trees.
This has to be the best £7-50 we have spent in a long time, and included a 5 amp electric hook-up. The CS has an excellent information centre, and also items for sale to support their local charity 'LIVES. '
The Spa walking and cycling trail is just 1/4 mile away, and Horncastle a lovely 6 mile ride along a disused rail track.
Woodhall village centre is about a 30 minute walk. There are 2 supermarkets in the village, and also a good selection of cafes, pubs, Kinema in the Woods, museum, and the memorial to the famous Dambusters of 617 squadron. There is also an excellent outdoor swimming pool in Jubilee Park. Plenty of good walks and cycle rides, and lots to do in the area.
There is a bus stop nearby.
This site is best suited for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

What a great little site this is,stayed here the last week in october for two nights.Friendly owners and very secluded site with lots of birds and wildlife.
Facilities are water/chemical disposal/bins and 5 amp hook up which are all fine.
Would suit adults looking for peace and quiet, and the great walks to Woodall and further afield to Horncastle on off road paths are a must. There are plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area with Lincoln and the east coast not far away.
Hope to go there again soon when we need some peace and quiet.

I wondered whether to submit a review about this site in case it became so popular we couldn't get in. Secluded, quiet, well kept and lovely people running it. Only five units as it is a c&cc cl. No toilets etc but rubbish disposal, water, 5amp hook up, toilet emptying. People have been coming here for years. Good value at £6.50. About half an hours walk to the village but it is such an interesting place. Kinema in the Woods is an experience not to be missed. Golf centre for those interested, nice shops for therapy and superb eating places. We have been three times in as many weeks. Wild life in abundance.
