Well organized site with one deficiency. Chemical disposal hose of a few centimetres prevents rinsing. Silly and so easily fixed.

Well placed for visiting Cahir.

Very pleasant riverside walk on site with a pets corner for children and a large playroom.

Excellent choice for young families

Stayed September 2020 in Camper van. Originally booked for 2 nights ended up staying 3 as weather really good. Nice site with large pitches. Good for families with indoor and outdoor facilities for the children. Being Child friendly means it can get noisy and busy at times.

Easy walk into Clogheen which has a nice supermarket.

Plenty of attractions within a reasonable driving distance.

Would stay again but being an older couple would stay mid week when the site not so busy.

We stayed here twice in July, for a total of 11 nights. Works out at about €33 for 2+2 with EHU. We also had our dog. The 7th night is free so very good value.

The site is fantastic. I'd honestly struggle to find a negative about it.

Theres a lovely walk around a river/stream with loads of animals, pheasants, goats, sheep, donkeys, llamas, alpacas and many more. The kids can also paddle or swim in a few spots but it's pretty shallow, maybe 3ft at the deepest spot.

There's an indoor and outdoor at area for the kids, a small takeaway and cafe.

Showers are free and very clean, as are the toilets. The kitchen has an oven, toaster, kettle and microwave. It also has a fridge and freezer but they could maybe do with a second of each as they were full from a very busy campsite.

The staff are all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

They also have a pony ride, a horse and cart and a small boat ride around the river. These are the only extras to pay and at €1. 50 each can work out expensive if there's a large group. The kids loved them though.

The village of Clogheen is about 5/6 mins walk from the site and has a small shop and butchers, few takeaways and pubs/restaurants. Cahir is 15/20 mins drive away and has a SuperValu and an Aldi.

This has so far been our kids(6/9) favourite site and we're hoping to get back a third time before the summer finishes.

A very tidy and well cared for site. Toilets clean although could probably do with updating. Owners very friendly and helpful throughout. Good small animal farm area and although we didn't have any children, the indoor and outdoor play areas would have been great. About 15 minutes walk to town but very small and not a lot there. Good for touring to Cahir and Cashel.

Stayed for one night on our way to Cork. Clogheen is not that far from the main motorway (20 mins drive)

Site was fairly full but we got squeezed in. Pitches are all fairly similar with limited view, although the camping area seems to have a much better outlook.

Open farm was good for the little one with all sorts of small animals on display as well as a farm museum - they have a small carry out chip shop on site (did not use it) - good indoor and outdoor play area - toilet block was clean. Would definitely stop over again for 1 or 2 nights.

Visited this site between Xmas and New Year. Wet and Windy, but wasn't everywhere at that time.

Owners were very friendly. Although the facilities were a bit on the basic side they were spotless. Showers were free, with nice hot water on a cold morning. The owner is putting money into the site, with new shower blocks being built while we were there.

This is a working farm, and there were a wide selections of animals on view - Emus, Llamas, alpacas, reindeer (well it was Christmas!). We even managed to rescue a goat from the river while we were there.

Would definitely recommend a visit in the summer, but the kids had a ball after the commercialism of Xmas.

This is an excellent site. The views are stunning and the facilities good if a bit eccentric.
The caravan field was empty of people when we were there although there were stored vans on the field. We had our own water supply and drain as well as EHU.
The owners were friendly and helpful.
The village of Clogheen was definitely "put your watch back 40 years" and we had a good, but not cheap, meal and did some basic shopping. It's quite a way to the nearest big town (Cahir).
It was during the hot spell we were there; it might be a bit miserable in the wet and wind, but isn't everywhere!
