Really good basic campsite with excellent facilities.
The location is set well away from traffic and fantastic views around.
Good base for cycling the Quantocks.

A wonderful place to stay. Greeted with a super warm and thorough welcome. The facilities were clean and well presented.
The area was well tended, spacious, quiet and full of wildlife. We live not far away and just wanted a night away to break up the weeks.
This was perfect and we are already planning a return.
Very grateful to have been accommodated at late notice too. Thank you.
We will see you again!

This Campsite is just beautiful. W
E stayed in the Orchard which is very pretty with a pond and free rowing boat to enjoy the water.
Hunstiles is a very peaceful place. And, I would thoroughly recommend it. No chemical waste though.

This organic farm is an amazing place to stay. Excellent hosts, good homemade and local food, breathtaking views. The real deal.
If you park in the meadow border prepare for some hill walking but the orchard camp is closer to showers and toilets.
Not a problem in a campervan with onboard toilet. Lovely relaxing stay.

What a gorgeous place! A quiet, rural site. Beautifully run and very welcoming.
Had a weekend here for a wedding. Camped in our motorhome down by the lake, which was lovely.
Very friendly. Could have taken the dogs but decided not to. Lots of animals on the farm.
Several different huts and cabins on site, plus high-end B&B. The cafe is incredible, doing a fab breakfast and pizzas. Really nice.
Great place to stop. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed in the Gypsy Caravan & loved it.
We shared the fire pit & compost loo with the Shepherd's van. There was also a 'normal' loo & shower shared with the campers.
The breakfasts were delicious and the owners Lizzie & John, & their team were very hospitable & helpful. The relaxed atmosphere enabled all of the other visitors to interact with each other.
I would recommend a visit & it is definitely a place we will return to. (we don't say that about many places).
Although we do not have a dog, we are dog lovers and this is a perfect location in a dog friendly environment.
There are lots of different accommodation options, gypsy caravan, shepherds hut, camping, B&B. You can even get married here.

Stayed at Huntstile last week with my brother and our 2 dogs. We recently purchased a tent and wanted to test camp it to see how we and the dogs liked it. Huntstile seemed like the ideal location for our first trip out. And we couldn't of been more right!
Staff very helpful and friendly on booking and during our short stay. Although they only have 5 pitches for tents we were allowed to pitch where we pleased - OK since pitches aren't marked out this may be an issue to some people who find their neighbours have stuck their tent practically on top of them and blocked their view of the countryside.
There was only one other unit on site when we stayed so plenty of room for us all to enjoy.
The views from the site over the countryside are lovely. Toilet and showers although quite small were clean and plenty of loo roll, hand wash etc provided.
The farms 3 dogs Izzie, Skorry and Stella are adorable, Izzie is lovely, very friendly and will follow you around (although doesn't get in the way or bother you) she even sat in front of our tent when we popped off site for a meal as though she was keeping watch over it. Our 2 greyhounds loved her and Izzie even gave one of them a kiss goodbye when we left the next morning.
The farm also has chickens and roosters, pigs, goats, cows, ducks and geese, they were even a few doves and guinea fowl wandering around. They operate a 'no area is off limit' policy so you are free to explore and some young guests from the b&b were helping out with feeding the chickens and bottle feeding the goat babies.
We choose to stay for the breakfast the next morning - which consisted of cereals, organic tea and coffee, organic apple juice and orange juice etc followed by the full english (the usual bacon, sausage, egg, mushrooms and tomato). - They did a vegetarian version for me too with vegi pancakes in a sweet chilli sauce. My brother said its 'the best bacon I ever tasted' which considering 'its alright' is his usual reply it must of been good.
Portion sizes weren't huge but big enough especially if you have the cereals and juice to start with.
We would definitely visit Huntstile again as it was lovely there, Would highly recommend a visit. Just don't expect a lie in as the roosters began their day at 0430 and were determined to make sure we all got up with them too.

We just stayed overnight on our way down to Cornwall but it was an ideal stop-off and in a stunning location. There was only one shower / toilet room which caused a queue in the morning, but they only have a few pitches so wasn't the end of the world. We would definitely stay longer if we were doing something in the area. They also sell lovely organic bacon!
