We stayed here before taking the overnight ferry to Greece, as this campsite is only 2 km from the ferry terminal. It was ideal for this, as well as for crossing to Venice by boat which we did on a previous visit.
The Reception is open 24 hours a day, with friendly multilingual staff. The ACSI Card low season rate is a real bargain, with free WiFi as well.
The new toilet/shower facilities are adequate and there is a coin-op laundry with ten washers and ten driers!
The shop had fresh bread and other produce, the bar and restaurant were open and the take-away pizza was excellent, cooked to order.
The site was busy, as expected, but not too noisy. The best choice for Venice.

I enjoyed my time at this site - there are some good views of the bay, the site is flat, staff are friendly and the facilities are clean and good quality. There are plenty of trees providing a good amount of shade which is also nice.
There are also a couple of downsides, namely the location. Whilst it provides good views, it's also right next to a shipping lane. When I was there, there was a dredger at work in the channel around 100m from the shore. Additionally, it's not far from Mestre's industrial area which includes a general drone of industry from time to time, plus the cargo ship terminal also adds to that background noise.
The only transport if you don't have a vehicle of your own is the ferry/water-bus that leaves next to the site and takes you to Venice, however it's not exactly cheap. The other option is the service bus that takes you almost all the way to Mestre Train station, however to use it you need one of the pre-paid cards (that can also be used on the tram network), and as far as I was aware, these could only be purchased from locations within Mestre.
Location aside, it's a nice site, though quite expensive.

A nice campsite out of season, very close to Venice with an easy water bus connection. Although we didn't use them there was a bar and restaurant which was very popular. Booking was easy through their website and on arrival we were greeted by and English speaker.
As it was out of season we could drive round and choose our pitch, there were no set out spaces, we could just choose something between the trees where ever we wanted.
I'm not sure this would work well in high season and you could end up being rammed in! Toilet facilities were dated but spotlessly clean.
Would certainly go again but only out of high season.

This is a fantastic site for visiting Venice. The vaporetta leaves from a stop only a few metres from the site entrance and runs until 10pm so you can stay out late.
It is a big site, very informal with plenty space and shade. The showers and toilets are a long way from the main camping area and are not luxury but quite adequate. There are also washers and dryers 4euro each, and wifi available (extra charge).
The on site shop is well stocked and there is also a bar and pizzeria which may be a bit noisy but you can pitch far away from them. The main shipping channel into Venice runs about 10m from the end of the site which was a little disturbing at first as the cruise liners and container ships do make the ground shake a bit!
We got used to it quite quickly. On the downside it is quite expensive at 50+ euro per night for 4 of us and a motorhome but we felt it was worth it for the location.

I agree with most of what was posted by the other reviewer.
This is a largish site with mobile homes and cabin rental available. All touring pitches are unmarked.
If you don't want to share in the disco/party noise, ensure that you camp in the furthest area from the Beer Garden (we heard, virtually nothing).
There are extensive 'facilities' which have been added to over the years. The most modern are excellent, and all are well maintained.
The pitches are mostly well shaded, though you will almost certainly not be spending the daytime 'on site'. Else why go there?!
The main attraction is, of course, Venice. The huge bonus you get at this site is the fact that there is a vaporetto service to Venice on the doorstep! 13 euros for a return ticket, or 28 euros for a three day ticket (2012). Journey time is about twenty minutes. You can also buy combined tickets for the campsite/Venice service plus any vaporetti you use in Venice itself.
We didn't eat on site, so can't tell you much. Except coffeee and bun in the morning is fine.

We had originally planned to go to another site near Venice called Camping Alba D'Oro. We were backbacking and had arrived in Venice by train and had waited for three hours for their advertised hourly shuttle bus from Venice Santa Lucia station which didn't turn up so we decided to go back on the train to Mestre and get a bus to Camping Fusina instead. This turned out to be an excellent decision as the site was really good. It was flat and shady with plenty of showers, toilets & washing facilities. There was a shop, reasonably priced restaurant, pizzeria and bar. Also there was a direct boat service to Venice near to the site. The bar got a bit noisy in the evening with groups of young people but it was possible to pitch your tent well away from them in a quieter spot yet still close to the amenities. When camping anywhere in this area it would be a good idea to bring/buy mosquito repellent as our six legged friends also seem to like visiting Venice. All in all I would recommend this site as not only is it is easy to get to and from Venice by public transport but it has excellent facilities and caters for everyone from backpackers to caravan and motor caravan owners. It also has its own caravan/chalet accommodation.
