No problem with the site, no mud, Sky tv easy to find from pitch 2 on the west side of the field. Plenty of room between pitches. There is road noise, but it dies down at night.

Access is easy, but you do have to watch out for the entrance. Coming from the east, you will see a cattery, it's the next entrance. It's only about a mile from the Stag pub on the hill.

It's ideally placed for a stopover or for a week, very near Alcester (Waitrose) for supplies, not far from Stratford. There is a garage and convenience store at the roundabout a couple of miles west.

Good walks around the river Alne, not far from the Avon at Bidford and Welford. Good views from the site.

The owner is very chatty and informative, he used to run beagle rescue.

We would use the site again, £13 per night is good. You need to phone to book, no email.

I am writing this from the campsite, so good mobile internet connection. The transmitters in the area must have been turned up as digital and satellite are both receivable.

The site is on a slight slope, and grass.

There is a toilet and wash basin for hands in a shed not too far from the Site.

Dump for both black and grey with rinse hose close by.

Ample ehu power, (16 amp)

Plus fresh eggs for sale daily, ( you can see the hens running around)

Slight noise from road, but not enough to bother me.

Very friendly and helpful owner.

This site is situated three miles from Alcester

Six miles from Stratford on the busy A46, if travelling from Alcester end you will need to cross heavy fast traffic.

The site is behind a bungalow, via a yard in a roughly mown meadow which has a slight slope. Some dlight traffic noise during the daytime.

Good views over the countryside, caravan and other storage behind trees at rear of pitches. The main pitches will have sunlight in the morning and shade in the afternoon if not raining !.

WC/Wash basin is located in the yard only a short walk away in a large shed. The door handle of this shed was broken, sink stained and cold water only, No TI information, general condition was found to be very poor, could do with some TLC.

This site is surrounded by trees on three sides.

TV reception is non-existent,both for Analogue and Digital systems.

Nearest supermarket Waitrose in Alcester.

Nearest pub on A46 towards Stratford, none within walking distance.

Local attractions-Wellsbourne Airfield Market (Saturdays), Ragley Hall, Charlcote Park (NT), Coughton Court (NT), Ann Hathaway's Cottage, Shakespeare's Houses (Stratford).

Fees paid £9.50pn for caravan 2 adults and EHU.

To summarise, an acceptable site of poor standard but in a good location for visiting local attractions or a stop over
