Was cycling around Ireland so needed a good campsite to stay at.
The cost was 13 Euros which was decent.
The site has good facilities and showers cost 1 Euro - pitch was fine so would recommend

The Adare Camping and Caravan Park is a neat compact site with a mix of hard standing and grass pitches which can accommodate camping, caravans and motorhomes, the facilities are clean and well looked after. Wi-Fi is available and all pitched have access to water and electricity. There is a motorhome service point by the entrance, although on a gentle slope the pitches are level and well spaced. The staff have been extremely helpful ever time we have been there and have made us feel welcome. The site is about 2 kilometres from the very pretty village of Adare which has numerous good pubs and restaurants and a decent supermarket.

This site had nice pitches and the wardens were very friendly. The showers were big and took 50c coins. There was plenty of hot water. The laundry had 2 washers and 2 dryers. It is about a 40 minute walk into Adare. Adare is a very pretty village with thatched cottages and very busy with tourists during the day. You can't go round Adare castle by yourself. You have to go on a guided tour. There are quite a few traditional pubs in town. We ate at both Bill Chalkes and Pat Collins. The boiled bacon and cabbage was delicious.

Very quiet site only 2km from Adare, well sign posted from main road.
Adare, itself, is an attractive small town buzzing with tourists and geared up to helping them part with their money!
The site is small but well laid out, giving a feeling of privacy. Toilet/shower blocks immaculate. 50cents in slot for shower, much easier than negotiating for tokens.
Last one to leave turns the light out - please check that you are really the last one!
Expensive at 25 euros per night, but attraction of Adare probably ensures they can charge what they like.

Tidy and secluded site perhaps 3km out of Adare.
We had a very friendly welcome from the chatty owner. The dog, horse, donkey and rabbit also like a bit of attention!
The facilities on-site are fine: bright, clean and tidy. 50c for the showers if you think 1 euro (the average everywhere else it seems) is too steep.
The site is partially segregated with mature hedges, which allows for a little privacy. It caters primarily for touring units.
There is a kiddies' play area, but it's rather overgrown, and in an area where the hard-standing hasn't been as well maintained as elsewhere. However, the grassy part of that area suited well for a group of moped owners on tour, so the site may also suit groups.
Adare is perhaps 3km away. Adare is a picture-postcard pretty village. It has lots of coaches and day trippers during the day, but if you make it into the village during the evening, you'll enjoy a very relaxed evening in one of the many pubs/restaurants in this pretty village.
