Lovely site with beautiful views to Boscastle (when the weather allows) it is a little exposed to the elements but with the car parked as a windbreak it is manageable (50mph gusts!)
The owners made us feel really welcome and directed us to our pitch on arrival.
Showers were always hot and clean and there are mops outside to give it a wipe when you've finished.
Plenty of taps scattered about and a nice family atmosphere. Even a bit of space in the middle for cricket!
Would certainly recommend and return.
Only minor is the road outside which is traditional Cornish with passing places we had some one impatient drive into us but that is nothing to do with the site just make sure you plan your approach if you are towing.

Liked: the site is well kept and has an amazing view towards Boscastle.
Loos and showers are clean and there are plenty of them.
£8 per night for a tent pitch is good value for money.
Disliked: nothing to dislike here!

Great campsite with lovely owners.
New shower and toilet block, and new hardstands for motorhomes.
Very cheap and great value for money.
Lots of local walks, and a short drive to Tintagel (although rather disappointed when we got there. )

Lovely, traditional campsite. A couple of showers, a few toilets and a kitchen- kept clean and Covid19 secure. Stunning views from our field.
Owners and fellow campers were all very friendly.
Just five mins drive to Boscastle or a fantastic walk from the cafe / farm shop (also lovely) along the coast.
We plan on coming back.

This is a small, well maintained site convenient to the coast path, bus route and Boscastle.
Friendly owners and clean facilities.
Slightly sloping and all grass.
Nearby farm shop is a must visit.

This site was fantastic value for money as it charges per person regardless of the size of your tent/caravan. Even better value when you bear in mind this site is in Cornwall. It is fairly basic but has everything you need in terms of facilities and we would go back.
We were in the main camping field. You can see the sea away in the distance and the sunsets over the sea were amazing!
When we stayed the summer had been very rainy, much more so that usual so suitable footwear was very important but was not a problem. Apparantly a couple of cars had trouble getting out of the 2nd field the week before but the friendly owners towed them out.
There are suitably sized facilities near the top of the main field. 3 separate toilet/wash rooms (with lights), 2 showers and a room for washing up that also had a microwave & fridge and a couple of plugs you could use if you were camping with no electricity.
However on top of this the owners also added 3 portaloos (no lights) near the entrance to the 2nd field because of it being peak season so there were always plenty of space and toilet roll & soap never ran out in any toilets.
The farm shop/cafe a couple of minutes drive up the road towards Boscastle was fantastic and their breakfasts were very welcome after a windy & rainy night!
No facilities for children beyond the camping field but when we stayed there was plenty of space for them to play on the 2nd field which was nearly empty. Dogs were welcome and when we were there were under good control, but that as always will depend on individual campers.
Site is easy to find and get to. No problems with access and in a good location for visiting anywhere in Cornwall, we went to both Lands end & Eden project from the site as well as many other of the closer places.

This is a value for money site with minimal but clean facilities, friendly owners and a great view along the coast from Boscastle to Tintagel.
On site there are 3 toilets, 2 showers and 1 washing up room, each of which is separate and clean, and about right for the size of the field.
There are electric hook ups. The ground is sloping and easy to drive pegs into. The site has no shop, but is just over a mile by road from Boscastle, with a Farm Shop en-route and a Spar in Boscastle itself.
Alternatively you can use public footpaths through adjacent fields to link up with the SW Coastal Path to enjoy fabulous views between Boscastle and Crackington Haven.

A very nice cheap and cheerful site. Owners are very nice and cheerful. The toilets and shower facilities could do with a major refurb, otherwise they are clean.
Site is very quiet. The entrance is a bit bumpy so take care if towing a caravan. Leaving the site can be a bit risky if the main road is busy so extra care is required.
There is no play area for children, basically it's just a field. You have to travel back to boscastle if you need to visit shops, etc.
I highly recommend this site if you are on a tight budget

Very simple and cheap site off road into Boscastle village (can get on public footpaths to village but a bit roundabout, road a bit hairy to walk on).
I agree with other review- shower either too hot or too cold, toilets basic. I wouldn't care to be there when busy. Seems popular with people who are self sufficient. Nice and quiet. The access drive is a bit rough. The farm collie was friendly, wanting to play, but went home when told.
The area on the coast is stunning. Ideal if you like walking. A fair way from any sizeable shops.
Boscastle itself is prettily touristy with a pay-through-the-nose car park, nicely restored after the flood. A few eating places but possibly not good value, like most tourist spots.

This is a hard review to write, because I have mixed feelings about the site. It is set just over a mile uphill outside Boscastle, in a green and lush area. The owner is lovely, very friendly.
The field is only slightly sloping and the pitches themselves are almost entirely flat. It is green and peaceful with lovely views across several fields to the sea. There is no shop or pub except in the village of Boscastle itself where there are several good eating places. There isn't a play area but children were happily (and quietly) playing in the field itself.
The site's main letdown is in its damp, old facilities - there is one shower for 30 pitches (wasn't a huge problem with queueing despite being July) but the water is a trickle, set at one temperature (too hot for babies / toddlers). Take carriers for clean / dirty clothes as nowhere else to put them to keep them dry.
There are 2 toilets (which ran out of loo roll each night), and no ST disposal except dustbins outside. There is one sink for washing up, and a tumble dryer.
Despite these criticisms, this is a lovely little site for basic old-fashioned camping, and cheap too. For quiet couples seeking a peaceful break it's ideal, or for families with slightly older children (who can shower by themselves). Driving is a must really unless you are very energetic.
