A charming site with friendly and helpful owners. Level field with cut grass and good hedges around on an organic farm.
Shower and toilet looked fine though we used our own as usual.
Good TV and phone signal.
Easy access to Spalding, Boston (including the iconic stump) and the Wash.
Plenty of shops around and pubs, takeaways and garden centres.
Traffic on the road outside is insignificant (rush hour of about ten vehicles) and easy access when towing.

Access/Egress:
Very easy access into the camping field directly from the road.
Check in:
Very quick response to my email asking about availability.
We pulled into the CL and pulled up at a pitch. After quick call to the owner to let her know we'd arrived, Rosemary came straight out to welcome us and give us the choice of pitches. The information sheet was very useful, and up to date.
Toilet and shower:
One toilet and a separate shower, both perfectly adequate and kept very clean. Loo roll and hand-wash in the wc, and towels if you need them for the shower. Showers are currently 50p, which goes into an honesty box. Temperature also adjustable.
Pitch:
Level, grass field with ehu boxes around the perimeter. Pitch how you like, no rules. The road outside the site is relatively busy. Yes, we were aware of it, no, it didn't spoil our weekend.
Overview:
Lovely, basic site with a friendly owner and wildlife aplenty. We went to sleep listening to the sqeaks of the baby tawny owls flying around the field. There is a dog walk field behind the poly tunnels, perfect for the first and last walk of the day. All in all, perfect for a quick weekend getaway.

E Paddocks, Northgate, West Pinchbeck, Spalding. Small Certified Site for Camping and Caravan Club and also Caravan Club site. I just loved this site. If you like a neat tidy site with a manicured lawn, regimented flowers and street like lighting this is not for you. If you like plenty of space in a field and a relaxed atmosphere in the countryside like me you will enjoy this one; simple unpretentious site with basic facilities.
Cheaper prices if you are a member of either clubs, markedly cheaper. There are 16amp hook-ups for an extra 50p if you are a member of a club. There is only one shower and one loo so your own facilities would be sensible. Honesty box for the shower at 40p a go. Facilities clean more than adequate but not fancy. Paperbacks left out for sale with honesty box funds from which go to the local GP surgery funds.
The Owners of the campsite were very laid back, helpful and friendly. They are organic farmers and will supply organic vegetables if you request although they do not advertise, they ask for donations to the local GP surgery again in return. The other campers were a friendly helpful bunch so the atmosphere was great. The road, although only a minor one, by the campsite was surprisingly noisy. There was a lot of farming traffic; this did quieten down completely with darkness. The farming did commence at daybreak, and of course early August, time of our visit, is a peak time for most farmers with any sort of crop.
There were a large number of dangerous roads around Spalding sporting warnings of casualty numbers despite looking comparatively empty, so take care. Spalding was a town well worth a visit although we did not have chance to do much sightseeing. There was an interesting looking pub called the Ship a short drive away that I would have liked to investigate situated near a river. Pinchbeck, 5 min drive away, had a quality butcher that sported awards and there was a good fish and chip shop and other fast food outlets as well as a small store.
Plenty of shopping available in Spalding, they have a shopping centre, Springfield centre, outside that charges for parking so I would advise doing your shopping in Spalding and using the free 2 hours parking at Sainsburys or using the out of town Morrisons. There was a river taxi to the Springfield Centre from Spalding which looked fun and seemed to be pretty popular. A site I would return to again.
