What a site! We have just returned from The Old Station and I can say it is the nicest camp site I have been to. The cafe is absolutely brill. We had our Sunday lunch before returning home and it was very good. The facilities at this site are spotless and exeptionally well cared for. We will definitely be going back.

Pleasant quiet site. Very helpful owners. 1 shower 2 toilets, clean and tidy. Elec hook ups,ch/dis/point, Recycling, water point. Ducks browse around the grass and pigeons in the trees. Closing the caravan and camping site this year. Local shops & take aways. Pub next door, nice meals. Beach only a few mins walk away. Beach was nearly empty when we were there. They seem to have problems with polution. I spoke to some locals and they say its to do with all the churning out at sea they do and the sewage. We didn't venture in for a paddle. Shame as its a nice sandy beach. Nice and flat for walking/cycling. The locals are nice and friendly and enjoy talking about their village. Hunstanton is closeby with many shops & take aways. Again, the beach there was near empty, on a sunny day aswell?

Stayed here for a short weekend break. Lovely C & CC 5 pitch site on the site of an old railway station. Friendly welcome on arrival and help negotiating pitch in the orchard. Beach convenient approx 6 mins. Pub serving food directly across the road from the site. Small supermarket (cash point - fee), chinese takeaway, newsagents, bakery all 10 minute walk away up in centre of village. Down near the beach are a couple of large static sites with adjacent small bingo/takeaway/beach shop/bar. Lovely walk along sea wall from Heacham to Hunstanton. NB this site will be closing to vans/tents from Easter 2007 as they are concentraing on S/C accommodation instead but will remain open all Winter (normally close) currently have 2 sc units in old waiting rooms. A lovely quiet site - will try and get again before they shut up shop!
