Beautiful location with sea view pitches overlooking the bay. Loved having our own coded gate access to the beach.
The site warden was friendly and helpful, providing us with a ladder to check a problem we were having with our roof aerial. The Harbour Inn was less than a ten minute walk from the site.
It is a lovely traditional pub serving great food. Rush Harbour in the village is a picturesque spot to sit and watch the world go by. There is a big Tesco on the way in to Rush.
Handy for picking up what you need before pitching up on the site.

Amazingly friendly, helpful and welcoming staff.
Exceptionally clean facilities and excellent location.
I intend to return here as the location is safe, excellent and facilities are appropriate and convenient to beach and Dublin.

Used as a stopover on the way back to the ferry. We hadn't booked, on arrival there is a large metal electric gate - use the intercom and the gate will be opened (its kept closed at all times).
Pitches on grass are narrow - you wouldn't get an awning out on a motorhome or caravan. Cars are parked directly behind caravans. Pitches are clearly marked on the fence though so they arent squeezing in more than they should - just pitches seem a bit 'aire' like. On the upside they are along the edge of the site overlooking the beach - step from the site lead down to the sands.
Facilities are old - but kept very clean. €2 for a shower we thought excessive though. Electric on all pitches, there is a moho point with a fresh water hose and drive over grey waste outside reception.
Don't think there was wifi on site - if there was we couldn't pick it up.
It's a 10-15 minute walk back into the village, a large EuroSpa and a bit further out a Tesco (EuroSpa was much cheaper and better stocked). A couple of pubs and cafes but not much else shopping wise.
The beach is lovely, you can walk along to the end and then onto the Martello tower, the other direction is a small harbour but no cafe there.
Owners are lovely, willing to help and tell you about the area. We paid €24 for a night with electric - would use this again for the site itself and its proximity to the Dublin ferry - but mainly for the wonderful views over the beach.

If you are touring Southern Ireland this site is a must. Right on the beach with wonderful views and relaxed atmostphere. Family run and they bring a capital H to helpful and so welcoming - if they can help in anyway they will. Shower and toilet block always clean and tidy and local facilities are more than adequate for a small town. Downside is no pre- booking, expensive Internet and no twin wheeled caravans. So popular though that you will find lots of Dutch, German and Nordic touring 'vans. But, in all honesty this site really is a must.

Site:
Tourers are situated right by the beach with lovely views but it can get very windy; Grass pitch on sand so motorhome was ok even though there had been continual rain
You can get down to the beach via steps
Facilities:
Dated but very clean showers and loos
Rubbish placed in open skip that can smell a bit
CDP and waste water outlet ok
Out & About:
Shops/Pubs - Did not look around as used site for convenience for Dublin Port ferry
Took 40 minutes to get to port using Toll Tunnel (this cost 10 Euros)

We thought this would be convenient for Dublin and make a nice change from Camac (although that is very good and convenient).
We were right. Situated right above the beach at Rush the site has a few static 'vans to the back of the site with tourers all along the front (beach) edge. Really great views. Using the motorway and (toll) tunnel you can be in the centre of Dublin in about 1/2 hour, but roads really busy in rush (sic) hours.
The facilities are really dated but work OK. Rubbish is placed into an open skip which a resident JCB compacts each evening! The only really problem is how busy it gets. There is no CCC 6m rule here. They jam the units in just as close as they can, especially so at a weekend. This means you might not be able to get out - a bit tricky if you're getting an early ferry, like we were!
