 We have been to Waterside 3 times now in the last 5 years
This year was by far the best since Park Holidays have invested in upgrading the site.
The views are stunning, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The breakfast package is a total bargain and you get a full English, cereals or juice and tea/coffee and toast for a very reasonable rate.
Our caravan was a brand new 2010 model and we were one of the first families to ever use it.
In previous years we have been allocated an older van, and they have all been spotless, with all home-from-home facilities
We didn't use the entertainment suite but the programme looked very comprehensive. The kids loved the playground and the pool
All in all a fantastic value for money long weekend with the added bonus of having the steam railway run just past the caravan a few times every day
We have already booked another long weekend in September this year!

We often camp with Park Holidays but didn't think this was one of the better sites. Staff appeared rude, pool had green stuff over steps, and we were moved 4 times before being given a pitch that was right. We were first told to pitch on a site where someone was already camping, then given one with out electric, which we had booked an electric pitch, then given 2 pitches apart. We had gone with friends and had booked 2 pitches together, finally we were given a pitch next to a caravan that was empty so there was room to squeeze 2 tents on 1 pitch.
Maybe we just had a bad experience. On the other hand, toilets and showers clean and entertainment satisfactory.
