 Stayed here for one night. Arrived about 5 pm French time.
Quiet nice appearance when entering.
Purchase your pass code from reception. Very reasonable €10 per night. This includes electric, waste, rubbish and showers.
Circular pitch type around the grassed area. Very pretty and again quiet in motorhome area.
We used the laundry room while here, €10 for use of both the washer and dryer.
Hint - don't use the little shower hut on the motorhome field (although nothing wrong with it) inside the laundry there are loads of showers which is a warmer room and more private.
While we were waiting for our wash we done some hand washing and the men got a shower then we headed for food.
There are a couple of restaurants 5 mins walk from the laundry.
It's not the cheapest but reasonable for four people. Three steaks and a portion of frogs with all the trimmings and drinks cost us €112.
We slept good, the pitch was flat. We left around 10am using our code to exit. Site very secure. Would recommend

We stayed 2 nights here and were lucky enough to get a riverside pitch. The pitches are quite small, we just got our Vango Infinity 600 on the pitch but the views were excellent! The toilet block and bar are quite basic but clean and everyone was very friendly. You can borrow the canoes for free and it's worth doing as the river is beautiful just upstream. There are several good restaurants along the same road, within 5 minutes' walking distance-the barbecue restaurant was particularly fun. The site was quiet at night when we were there even though it was full.

Lovely river setting near to Allier approached by a long length of single traffic carriageway. Try to get a riverside pitch although you might have to tell reception that you are staying for more than one night. Site facilities somewhat dated apart from pool which was closed when we called. The waste collection is situated by the entrance. There are a large number of chalets on site many of which were being used by dog lovers when we were there. We were not warned and spent a sleepless night with howling dogs. Take a shovel with you or mind where you tread. I would check to see if any groups are renting the chalets before you go.You can cycle into Vichy although the traffic is manic once you get over the bridge. Two good supermarkets within walking distance.
