We stayed in one of the chalets on this site this year. We normally camp. We liked the site and you couldn't fault the attractiveness of the location. The site has a lovely heated pool. The weather wasn't great our first week but it didn't stop us using the pool which we often had to ourselves. It became very hot the second week so although the pool was much busier it was never too crowded. The little bar was nice and the staff friendly. Toilets were clean. We didn't try the shower. We stayed 2 weeks and on one night there was wine tasting and on one afternoon a week free horse and cart rides but that was it for any entertainment. The site was silent by 10pm. Everyone just seemed to disappear to bed.
We had with us a 12, 10 and 1 year old and for the first few days the 12 year old was a little bored but he soon relaxed and started to enjoy it. There was a large mix of nationalities and my children met one or two friends.
The park was good, tennis court free and a fun wooden bowling alley!
Gerardmer was lovely and the beach is worth going to for a day or so. We also went to the local them park Fraispetius City which was great fun.
I don't think we will return as the children perhaps enjoy a little more going on but we enjoyed it. Having said that I wouldn't stay in the campsite chalet again. We did have mice which was followed by dead mice after the campsite owner put some poison down!

Great campsite, especially for families. Good heated pool, and an excellent play park, also very good shower facilities.
Small shop and snack bar on site with reasonable prices. Cost us about €31 per night (2 adults, 1 child, 1 infant, 6amp elec) so quite good value.
Gerardmer was 10km away, so a quick drive or nice relatively flat bike ride.

Very attractive terraced site with pitches separated by hedges and marked parking spaces by each pitch. We were on one of the upper levels close to one of the two excellent shower blocks. The pool was still open despite it being late in the season but the bar/take-away was closed.
Nearby Le Tholy had a great patisserie and a small supermarket although the only bar we found was never open!
Good walking opportunities nearby e. G. The wooded area around La Grande Cascade and La Petite Cascade is just a 10 minute drive from site.
Remiremont well worth a visit as are Munster, Kayserberg and Riquewihr bur we were disappointed with Colmar. For a scenic drive there is the area around the Ballon D’Alsace

A truly terrific site. Stunning mountain location with magnificent views set in beautiful woodland. Facilities modern, immaculately cleaned daily and the site run by a most delightful group of people. Pool great although unheated so a bit chilly, particularly for children, when the weather is not roasting. Campsite etiquette amazing. Total silence by 2130 until 0900, which made for a very restful time. Site patronised mainly by young families and retired folk. No 18-30 here! Easy access on foot to Le Tholy (good range of shops, including good boulangerie) and Gerardmer (all town amenities and a magnificent lake on which to hire boats of all kinds at reasonable rates). All in all, a great stay. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it very highly. The best European site I have ever used.
