We stopped here for 3 nights in a hot August. We chose the site for its proximity to Guedelon castle and St Fargeau, plus it has the camping qualite mark, and we have generally found their sites to be ones that we like.
We were able to chose our own pitch on arrival, although I agree with the previous reviewer that the grounds could do with a little bit of TLC. The host spoke enough English and were happy for us to practice our French too. A small selection of bread can be ordered for the next day. The site was very quiet on the whole, many occupied by French families. It is in the countryside and out of the way, so no road, or even farming noise when we were there.
There is a swimming pool on site which was most welcome during the heat. There were two playgrounds, as well as ping pong and a volleyball ground. The sanitary buildings were clean and had enough showers/loos. I noticed that the campsite is opened all year round. There was a youth group on camp when we were there, a number of pitches seemed to be set up with small tents and a mess tent but they were no problem at all.
We used the restaurant twice and really enjoyed our meals there. One night was a moules and frites special, the second we ordered the formula plates. It was nice to have traditional French cuisine, as well as a little fast food on offer.
We visited Guedelon castle, which was the main purpose of our trip, as well as using it as a small stopover heading south. We also went to the evening show at St Fargeau, which was charming.
I would use the site again for a stopover, but it is a little out of the way for other Burgundy sights.

We stopped here on the way back from the Alps so our whole stay was not here. The site looks a bit tired on arrival, ripped flags, tatty signs etc. However the receptionist (English speaking) was very friendly, the site has many shady pitches (we were just told to drive around and find a free one) under trees but also some not so shady if you want. It was REALLY quiet at night, being in the middle of nowhere hardly heard any traffic. The lights are turned off around the campsite about 10pm (which I think is a good call) and after that is really quiet, didn't even need earplugs and that's a first! For kids there's crazy golf, a heated pool (not too deep) trampoline and kids having fun cycling around the site, there's a woodland trail as well which we didn't do and I think I saw tennis courts? The shower and toilet facilities are new and spotless. The ground is a it unkempt and uneven with big holes and lumps so could do with a little TLC but we found a huge pitch for our campervan and awning that was OK, probably for caravans and mobile homes the hardstanding pitches were OK. There is a restaurant although we didn't use it so can't review that. Bread as usual on most French campsites can be ordered. As we were only there for a short time, we didn't explore locally, just a little bike ride around the lanes (which were very quiet as well). The landscape is mainly arable so not overly scenic and I think you'd probably have to drive a bit to visit places of interest as it's in the middle of nowhere. Would I stay here for 2 weeks or a week, probably not, only because of it's remoteness and the drive to see points of interest - however each to their own, it's quiet, reasonably priced, clean camping with everything you need, a good stopover after a hot day's driving or a couple of nights to rest up. The grounds needs a little TLC - the site looks like it's been there donkeys years and some things have not been tended to for donkeys years although I have to say that's mostly aesthetic, not a reflection on the facilities and friendliness of the staff.
