We booked here for two nights for a stop over whilst heading north. We ended up staying for one. Location is not too bad, its an ex municipal site very close to the town and train station.
Check in after two but you can arrive from twelve and find your own pitch.
Electric on pitches but you may need a long cable for some. Check in was easy and the young girl in reception was polite and efficient but seemingly the only member of staff.
Pitches were spacious but needed some TLC. The let down was the sanitary facilities which were clean but dated and smelled.
There is a small pool but it is a little exposed.
Could be a great site but needs investment and TLC. ACSI accepted.

Came back here out of curiosity to see how the young owners had progressed.
The layout of the site is still immaculately done.
The sanitaire block has been updated and is spotlessly clean. The showers are roomy and have controllable hot water.
The electric power is a good 16 amps, so you can have a kettle and a fire at the same time and the free wifi has a strong signal throughout the site.
One downside is the noise from the trains, which previously we had not noted.
All this and ACSI too. Our previous rating was 6/10 but with the improvements and price structure, it has become one of our 'must return to' sites.

We stopped here for a night, but ended up staying two as we decided to visit Autun to see the cathedral and the Roman theatre.
The site was very well kept and the new loo block was very nice indeed but I felt it was overpriced for what it was. The pitches are rather small and there's nothing on the site, although there is a municipal swimming pool over the road.
There is a restaurant on site that sells lovely pizzas (closed Tuesdays).
There is a nice place to exercise your dog just over the bridge outside the campsite. You can't access the river from the campsite itself.
It was a good stop over but I'm not sure I'd use it again as such because of the price.

This site has moved from Municipal to privately owned. It is in the process expansion but mainly into chalets.
The site itself is very well maintained, with immaculate beech hedges between the pitches. Pitch size is adequate for normal unit plus car.
The toilet block is old but scrupulously clean. There is a new block just completed but was not open at our visit.
The town centre is a 5 minute walk and most shops can be found there.
Just outside town on the D974 are large supermarkets and cheap fuel.
The 'voie verte' shown on the website is about 3/4 of mile away, on the Canal du Centre. What is not obvious is that the journey to the canal is up a very steep hill. Once you have negotiated cardiac hill you can go along to St Leger.
You must go to Beaune(13 kms up D974)a beautiful walled mediaeval town with none of the sickly touristic attitude of Sarlat, Carcassonne or Mont St Michel.
The site is part of the ACSI scheme and the confusion over rate has now been resolved. Unfortunately, at the higher rate. (website said €14 but ACSI said €16)
It is a pleasant site and probably worth more than a stopover just to go into Beaune, but probably is not worth the ACSI band in which it sits.

We stayed here twice in 2013, in July and September, but have only just got around to leaving a review. The site is excellent on all counts. The previous posters comment about the dated shower and toilet blocks have been addressed and there are now new facilities. I can't say we heard any road noise either while we were there.
On both our visits the site has been full by about 16. 00 so aim to arrive at a reasonable hour. If you arrive while the office is closed just find a pitch and tell the staff which one you have when they re-open. There is free wi-fi around the office area. As MH campers we like the fact that it is an easy walk into town for shopping or restaurants, and there are also good walks along the canal in both directions.
We will no doubt be returning at some stage this summer, and can highly recommend it.

This is a very friendly, well kept campsite with lovely restaurant and is an easy walk into town. Although it doesn't have a swimming pool the excellent municipal pool is just around the corner and only costs 1 euro. The toilet blocks were quite old but clean and well kept.
There are lots of vineyards, chateaux and cycle trails in the area. Beaune is well worth a visit with lovely walks and beautiful buildings, particularly Hotel Dieu.
Although this site seemed to be used mainly for overnight stays, there is plenty to do in the area and you could easily stay here for a week.
There was quite a bit of noise at times from the railway and nearby roads, but don't let that put you off, it's a lovely little site.
