Spent two weeks here.
Quiet site on the banks of the Lot. Slow moving here, between two locks. About 3-4 kms apart. So, for boats, you can paddle either way and no need for collection.
The site owners are very friendly and accommodating.
Some forty odd pitches plus chalets.
The main reception block includes a bar/restaurant (nothing fancy) and an outdoor seating area beside the plunge pool (new-ish).
Weekly, on a Thursday, a communal meal is hosted in the restaurant. Entree, Main, Cheese, Pudding and coffee. Plus as much wine (red or rose) as you wanted. All for 17 euros, which was good value. The main course (when we had it) was a venison stew. Very tasty!
There is a terraced games area with ping pop, table football, darts etc.
There is a BBQ structure freely available.
Wifi is good throughout the site and is free.
Ablutions are split between the sexes. And as reviewed by Stichwort.
In the small square at the centre of the village across the river is an unprepossessing looking restaurant/bar which serves excellent food. We ate there several times.
If you happen to be here when the Flagnac Pageant is on. DO NOT MISS IT. Probably the best one in France!
Places worth visiting: Capdenac-en-haut, Conques, Estaing, St Cirque Lapopie, Perche-Merle Caves, Figeac. All within reasonable drive times
One of the very few camping sites (in fact, I've never come across one, till this) that provides kayaks, canoes and pedalo FREE for campers use, motorised fishing boats are available at very reasonable prices.
Plenty of fishing points along the bank of the river bordering the campsite.
Theres also a reasonable tennis court, extensive pétanque pitches, and animal paddock (donkeys and goats that can be hand fed)
Night-time swimming with underwater lighting in the pool is available.
There is a bouncy castle/ trampoline, and various children's play structures.

The location of this site is fantastic, on the edge of the river lot and quiet, this time of year the bar was closed but the lady in the office said she would open it if we wanted. The pool was available but we didn't use it. The toilets and washing facilities were clean and adequate. There were some permanents on site. The pitch was private with trees and the river of course but the local town is a drive away for food if you get the wrong night. Yes I would use this site again, it was clean and friendly and reasonably priced.
