Very Good campsite should you want extensive backup. Clean facilities and reasonable price.
Easy to find and excellent location. Ideal for families. Good base to visit the area and coast should you want to or just to chill out and relax. May not suit those looking for a back to basics no frills camping experience. Shops pubs and stuff all within easy reach. All in all a recommended campsite that should suit the majority

Not sure if this is opening again as a campsite. Passed this site for a look and it is now closed and appears to have some timber homes being built on it.
The signs appear to have been removed from the front of the house / building.

Just got back from weekend away picking up our new caravan from dealers in Blackpool so thought we would tie up with a long weekend. The site appears to be a converted back garden in a housing estate on the outskirts of blackpool. The site is surrounded by other peoples houses and gardens. Got very loud on the saturday night as one of them was having a party! If you've got a big caravan and large-ish car be warned the turning in and out is very tight. We had just picked up our 24' van with our Nissan 4x4 and was a 2 person job manoevering out, my partner driving and me stood in the road guiding! Our van didn't even fit on the pitch as it over shot the track up the middle. I would also like to mention the price, it cost us £45 (cash in hand- no cards allowed) for two nights, for the 2 of us, 2 dogs, awning and electric. We thought was ridiculous considering how basic the facilities were, 1 shower each and 2 toilet cubicles in each, no soap or toilet roll in the mens! and not exactly clean! I don't think even caravan club is that expensive Plus points, very near Blackpool and Morrisons round the corner Don't expect a picturesque view though!

The site is neat and tidy with both male and female shower and toilet facilities. There is a Morrison's store just up the road and a pub round the corner. Just a few minutes drive from sea front. Only been to this site once but will not be going back. No electric hook-up for campers, paid in full in advance, never got to see the owners of the site. Arrived just after 9am Saturday June 23rd 2007. Took around 30 minutes to get the site owners attention, and that was some woman screeching at us from a small upstairs window. Directed to a spot to pitch tent, but was unable to due to the ground being hardcore underneath the grass, also told that they do not open till 10am although the opening times printed in the window state 9am Took over an hour to regain the attention of the site owner, and that was only because I called the booking information number, got the answering machine and then 10 minutes later she rang me back wanting to know why I rang her, she then told us that tents can only be pitched in the picnic area at the far end of the site, I had to move a picnic table so that I could pitch tent. We had to pay in advance for 2 days, we were challenged on the Saturday night when we got back to the tent accused of not paying, we left on Sunday morning, unable to get the attention of the site owners for a refund.

Small welcoming Park, ideally situated for visiting Blackpool & the lights and an easy journey into Blackpool. There is a barrier at the entrance but you are given the code to enter / leave as you like. Toilet/Shower facilities were very clean. One section had what looked like Seasonal pitches and the other were all level and hard standing pitches. The pitches were divided by wooden sided flower / shrubs boarders. All pitches had electric hookup facility. Not sure if they take Tents but on on site whilst we were there. Children on site were welcomed but no play / recreation-area. Would return if visiting this area again.

Just returned from this site today (26/10/06) , its a small site in what appears to be someone's back garden. I stayed on this site about 17 years ago when it was seen as up to date but sadly has not had anything done to it since. 2 toilets and 1 shower joined together all open at the top in both sex's. The shower in each toilet block worked but do not try to shower outside of daylight hours as the lights are on a sensor and turn it off after you have soaped up. Have to be quick for dish-washing water too as it quickly got used up. Site electrics kept tripping out the whole site, 10 amp electrics , but after 6 resets the site owner finally fixed it . The site is listed for 15 pitches in my caravan book but had 22 occupiers on site on my arrival 2 caravans with awnings on the play area and 1 motorhome pitched between neighbouring 'vans, forget the 20' rule here. Dogs are allowed at £2.50 a night but no dog walking on site is allowed . This is a quiet site and ideally situated near the airport and the start of the illuminations as well as having a morrisons supermarket and a pub at the top of the road along with other shops .The road is on a main bus route £3.00 for 2 adults and a child to the tower.
