Stayed here on a very wet weekend. Pitches appeared to be very water logged making it difficult to get on and off pitch. There was a lot of dog poo on the grass which we asked the owner of the site to remove, which she did.
The food in the pub was quite good and not very expensive. The area around the site is very pretty and a lot of interesting places to visit. Would I go back to this site? No I'm sorry I wouldn't.

This is cosy small site under trees and surrounded by a wooden fence; the facilities are ok. Shaded under the trees, it felt a bit dark upon viewing in the late afternoon. The pub is frequented by locals - friendly and welcoming. Location good for Gainsborough, Doncaster and Lincoln.
It made me aware to look out for the size of site in the description/guide book as this is a bit small with a slight claustrophobic feel. (I like my space.)I think it is listed with 3/4 acres.
Very tight space to pitch van when entering. Gate can be locked outside pub opening hours from what I overheard in the pub.
I am a single caravanner looking for quiet, so I did not check for child friendliness. I guess small children would be safe and happy to play under the trees on the lawn. From school age, they might look for more attractions, which I did not notice.

Small pleasant little campsite, only 5 pitches, slightly water logged when raining, mind you it did chuck it down. Situated just behind pub in little village of Marton. Ideally situated for the Lincoln area approx 14 miles (I think) pub does do meals (never tried) and beer not bad but expensive, £3.25 for Smiths. Site fees excellent £7.50 per night or 45 for the week. Basic facilities, chemical empty area and water obviously and ehu included in price. Not one of the best but definitely not one of the worst I have stayed at. Would go again.
