This site is in a lovely location with stunning views.

It's a very terraced site and is really two sites in one. The lower half is quieter and beside the river. The upper half is where the pool, bar and action is. Both have a sanitary block. The two halves are separated by a road.

The river is suitable for everyone - from little paddlers to those who want to swim properly. There are also rocks to jump off which were great fun. We had a pitch beside the river which was lovely.

The road through the middle shouldn't put you off, it isn't an issue at all. We have small children who wandered freely - the way the site is set up means they just won't wander onto the road.

There was a good programme of activities for both adults and children organised 6 days a week by two resident animators.

The facilities were kept immaculately clean and hot water was in abundance.

All of this said we found the site just too Dutch. It is owned, managed, staffed and almost entirely occupied by Dutch people and we felt strangely peripheral. As a result, we cut our visit short and moved on to a French site.

This campsite is set either side of a very very quiet country road with hills either side. All the pitches are on flat grass amongst trees and hedges. All had hook up, large pitches. There are two shower, toilet, washing up blocks, one on either side of the site which are cleaned regularly.
Our tent was pitched by the side of the river which the children loved to play in. Further down there is a small beach for paddling and swimming. The restaurant is lovely and quite reasonable and there is a bar for snacks and ice creams by the side of two lovely pools and patio areas. The scenery is wonderful with mountains and trees surrounding the horizon.
The site is owned by a Dutch family who are very welcoming and there are a lot of Dutch families camping here, upside is that a lot of them speak English.

The shop is adequate and has fresh bread every morning. There is NO drinking water so you are advised to drink bottled (from shop 3 Euro/12 lts , so cheap). Had a lovely time, area stunning, you must go to pont d arc and swim in the ardeche and go to orgnac caves there. I advise you take toll roads down as it saves a lot of time and roads fantastic. Local village had everything you need and small shops.
