We visited here in early September so things were quiet. We managed to get a lakeside pitch so the views were fab and we could just step onto the beach area (note: pitches to one side of the site have an access road in front, we had direct access to the lakeside).
It has to be said, the beach area looks better in pics than it really is. It's pebble and not easy on the feet (footwear required!).
The lake is more geared for watersports than for swimming.
The staff here were friendly and helpful. Only one sanitaire block was open but that was fine and it was modern and clean with lots of hot water for showers.
There's a small restaurant / bar near reception (was still open in September) and a small pool.
A nice, friendly site. We would return.

Lovely site in a beautiful area. Ablution blocks are clean and adequate, but not luxurious. New swimming pool is lovely, the bar and shop are fine. The reception staff are very helpful and multilingual. The ground staff work very hard to maintain the site. There is a huge area for children to play, and in the summer there are children's activities laid on. The lake is lovely, and by the end of June was warm enough for swimming.
Site is popular with fishermen and several folk had brought their own boats. Water sports available
The area is lovely. If you love history there are loads of historic villages to visit. Supermarket and other shops 4K away in Salles Curan, major supermarket in Pont de Salars, about 11k away

We picked this site for the location on the lake as we take a small dinghy with us. The site was nice and quite when we stayed in late June and there was no problem getting a water front pitch which are a good size and nicely hedged for privacy. The toilets are nice and well kept and the on site shop was well stocked and very handy as all supermarkets are a good drive away. The pool area was very nice and the kids spent a lot of time there. The only thing I would watch out for is the water level in the lake as it seems to be drained quite often for repair work and when we stayed it was about half full and very muddy at the waters edge because the water level was well down below the sand line. All in all a nice site if you like the water and want to relax but if you want a lot to do out and about maybe not the site for you.
