We stayed here for 3 nights in March 20 just as the Coronavirus restrictions were being put in place.
Reception was good as was customer service. You do get a map when you arrive and you are asked to select a pitch on foot and report back to reception before you are permitted to take your van on.
The pitches were well laid out and very spacious, we chose one with EHC only and the toilet block about 50m away. As you can imagine the site itself was virtually deserted with only 3 other units on site at the time although there are a number of statics on the site as well.
Toilet block was immaculate with no issues of any sort, plenty of hot water for showers a and washing up. Separate facilities for ladies and gents with a shared main door only.
Washing machines are available in the reception building next to the shop and restaurant which are both open all year. The bar was not open but you can get drinks from the restaurant which had a small menu as it was winter but fairly decent food and good sized portions.
WiFi was free and very good, we were able to stream movies with no problems.
Nearby there are many restaurants near the harbor which was within walking distance. Cycle paths are abundant as you would expect in the Netherlands although we chose just to chill out. Hire bikes are available for €11 per day.

A very nice site on the shore of the Lawersmeer, with a sandy beach and views over the estuary. The facilities are relatively modern and well maintained. The free WIFI was fine on the pitch.
There is a 'boat museum' adjacent to the site with a collection of interesting old vessels.
This is a very good area for cycling with a mix of quiet roads and dedicated cycle paths. This is also a good area for ornithologists, we encountered a number of people with binoculars or long camera lenses.
One gripe, our nearest standpipe provided only a trickle of water and had a blocked waste and I had to use one rather more distant. This is a minor issue however, overall we enjoyed our stay and would happily use this site again.

Very pleasant site near the coast. Good clean facilities; showers and washing up with plenty of hot water.
Restaurant, bar and shop on site, good children's play areas. Nicely spaced out pitches. Good WiFi - free.
Good access to surrounding area with plentiful walking and cycling paths.
Used ACSI card - 36. 60 Euro for 2 nights.
