We stayed here for one night en route to Cherbourg. The campsite was recommended to us by some people that had stayed here before. They said it was family owned, with the owner living on site and making sure everything was of a very high standard.
Unfortunately, it has now been taken over by The 'capfun' company. When we arrived, the rather unfriendly staff member checked us in, insisted the whole family came in to the office for the swimming pool bracelet fitting, taking a deposit of 5 Euro for each bracelet.
She told us that we all need to come back tomorrow so she can cut the bracelet off. We paid for our stay, which was quite pricey and when we inquired about Wifi, we were told it would be 30 Euro for the family. I assumed that wifi would be included in the price, we didn't pay the money.
The pitch was an average size, quite difficult to access as it was in the centre of three pitches.
The pool is the best thing about this site, 3 waterslides and a pool of varying depths with a built in jacuzzi. Its not a pool for swimming lengths.
The beach is a 5 minute walk and its gorgeous. There's no lifeguards on duty here.
We had food in the restaurant. There were two staff for a lot of tables and we waited about a half an hour before being served. The menu was basic pizza, burgers and chips, it was fine for families and wasn't overpriced.
There was one sanitary block. I found it very confusing to find where the facilities were as there were many entrances. There seemed to be very few showers and we had to queue to get one, Once in the shower, I couldn't figure out how to turn it on and had to ask someone. Turns out you tap a sensor. I never saw this before and there was no information anywhere.
Overall, if you want a site near a lovely beach with waterslides, this site might suit you. I felt it was quite impersonal, annoying about the bracelets and would have expected better sanitation facilities for the price we paid

Easy site to find with latitude & longitude co-ordinates in your sat nav, around a 3 hour drive from Cherbourg Ferry port. We used this as a night stop over.
English speaking very friendly staff but they have a rather drawn out and complicated check in system
We were charged 5euros each for a wristband which is compulsory to wear (allowing you access to site facilities) and 20euros deposit for a barrier key, these all have to be handed back intact to the person you check in with in order to get your money back, bearing in mind reception doesn't open until 9am if you are wanting an early departure, all very pricey and complicated.
Facilities are modern clean and plentiful, the bar area and snack bar area are nice and served by english speaking friendly staff, 3. 50euros for a medium frites so reasonably priced.
Pitches are a good size separated by hedges some access ie corners are a little tight for large outfits.
There are a mix of statics and tourers on site.
Facilities for families seem very good the pool etc looked safe and clean.
There is an extra charge for 10a hookup at 1euro per night.
Overall a nice sight but very Holiday Camp style, quite noisy during the day, but peaceful at night.
Beach and golf course are close to site but no shops around the area.

Stayed 5 nights here, on our return journey to Cherbourg ferry. Campsite site is nice, and staff very friendly. Bar seldom opens, which even off season is a big loss. I found beaches are nice and in walking distance. Car is a must, as shops are not in walking distance. Bread can be ordered from reception.
Toilet block is been extended and work men working late at night, I suspect trying to be ready for july and august. Found site facilities good, internet is a disaster, poor signal, unless you stand outside bar with laptop. ALSO 5 EURO AN HOUR IS OTT.
Granville is worth a visit and try the restaurants, mussels and chips 7. 50€ Granville walk about it, it is a lovely port town, with ferries to Chausey and Jersey. Excellent day trips and Aquarium, and Castle and lovely harbour views.
Camping La Route Blanche in June is dead, and more mobile home orientated and lots of caravans are season users, and not worth the charges, and everything is extra. Even water on pitch is 3€ extra. And if you want water from the taps at side of toilet block, this takes all day to fill 20 litres container.
Pool is lovely but needs shade sun brollies, for people who want to tan not fry. Overall I wouldn't stay here again, but would look at other camp sites in area with more facilities for kids, and check there is lots available. Was disappointed with La Route Blanche it could do more to attract the tourers.

This is a lovely site, close to a very quiet beach, not much going on for teenagers but was still quite noisy of a night. Showers, washing up areas and toilets are all very clean and lots of hot water.
Don't think we will go back as 14 year old was really bored. But would recommend to families with younger children as the pool is fantastic.
The only problem was that the pitches a rather bumpy and some are very small also the on site restaurant has a very limited menu and the shop has very little choice, supermarkets are about 10 minute drive away.

Great campsite lovely pool.10 mins from granville with lots eating places and shops.Site has good size plots that can have as many awnings tents as you want. The toilets-showers were very good.Shop there but very small.Beach is very short walk away. The down sides were.Lots of children playing till 1-2 in the morning.Wifi very unreliable and expensive.Have to wear wristband all of the stay.Local beach full of nudists and perverts.Had rats nest very close to caravan(but think that was just localised). Not a good place if you want peace and quiet.Would go back to the area but not that site.

A very well organised site, many statics and long stays, convenient for local beach and ferry.
This site does require you to wear an armband for access, especially in the pool. Receptionist speaks some English.
The site is very well maintained, the pool is impressive, there is a small shop where bread can be ordered and bar for drinks and snacks. The toilet block is large, regularly cleaned and the showers closed during the night. Good laundry and dishwashing facilities. Pitches are level, clearly marked out but not very deep and quite close together. Entertainment is organised some evenings, one night was a 'moules and frites' at the bar, another evening the pool was opened late for swimming to music and coloured lights.
Not far from the site is a golf course and just on (about 5 minutes on foot) from there is a sandy beach. It is easy to walk to, though there are places for parking. A short drive takes you to the town of Granville with plenty of shops, restaurants (excellent fresh seafood) and a casino.
